The starlights gaze

I only fear the darkness,
When I am shrouded from the night sky.
When I am hidden from the beauty of the moon,
Or kept away from the peaceful breeze's sigh.
Let me run through the night dew of the grass,
Allow my eyes to wander the cobwebs that resemble the likes of glass.
Let me sing in the mourning of the forgotten day,
And grant me a dance under the star's array.
For in the starlight; whether full of glee or sorrow,
I am free and I am hopeful for a better tomorrow.
