"Oh boy, this is going to be hard work." He set things to his desk, sat down and got to work.

His daughter on the other hand was cuddling with Wyatt on the couch. He purred, as her hand petted his head and back. "Kiwshtie, do you want to pvay some games?" Her cousins asked, as they pulled out some box out of their bag. She shook her head and petted Wyatt again. "Awe you okay?" They sat on the floor next to the couch. She nodded with light sigh.

"Girls, lunch is almost ready, come help me set the table," Kimy called them to the kitchen. Both girls ran to kitchen, leaving cuddling duo alone. "Where did you leave your cousin?" They both pointed towards the living room. Kimy sighed and went to her niece. "Hey, everything okay? Or you miss dad so much?" She nodded. "He will be here soon. Now come, it's time to eat your lunch." She planted a kiss on her niece's head. "If you want, we can go look at dad after we eat our lunch and rest for a little, okay?" Kirstie's eyes shone happily, just until she heard about the rest. She nodded, because she wanted them to go see how Mitch was handling everything.

"Okay," she said quietly and dragged herself to kitchen. Rossi came up to her and petted her back.

"Don't be so sad. Smi-e a vitt-e at us," they smiled at her. Girls were half year older than she was and they were almost identical - Rossi was higher and had dark eyes like her uncle and grandpa and Lizzie had her mother's blue-greenish eyes. Kirstie smiled at them. Kimy got food on the table and they ate it silently.

"You'we good cook, auntie." Kimy's heart warmed up at the compliment from her niece.

"Thank you, honey." Once they were done, she washed the dishes and girls went to living room. When she walked in too, Kirstie was already asleep on the couch. She took out her phone and took a picture, sending it to her brother. "She missed you so much, she didn't want to eat, now she's "waiting" for us to go to your work XD".

From: Oh my little angel. I wish I could come, but it's going to take at least hour and a half to end this :'(

To: That's fine. Girls are keeping her company if anything. Just don't get yourself to hospital and take good care of yourself :*

She put her phone away and sat beside her girls, playing with them. "Aren't you tired?" They shook their heads. "Okay. Uncle Mitch will be coming in maybe two hours, so if she wakes up before he will come, try to delay her. I will take her to get her shower, then you will try to choose her clothes, okay?" They nodded again.

"Yesh, mom," they whispered in unison.

"Mom, can we stay fow a vitt-e, once unc-e Mitchy comes? Just so we can be with him for a vitt-e," Lizzie asked quietly.

"I will ask him, but I don't promise anything," her mom answered and made her move. They played for longer, when Kirstie started waking up. She rubbed her eyes tiredly and yawned. "Good morning." Kimy smiled, kissing her forehead. "How was your nap?"

"Vong. Ish daddy he-e?" She looked around, trying to keeping her eyes open.

"Not yet. I'm going to call him, you can sleep little more, if you want." She stroke her niece's cheek. She took out her phone and dialed her brother's number.

"Hey, I'm leaving my office. I should be home in 15 minutes max 30," he sounded very tired. She heard him shut his car door and click of the seatbelt.

"Okay, get yourself here safe. Kirstie just woke up and she's still not over the fact, that you're not here, so prepare yourself for her being clinged on you for the rest of the day. Also girls wanted to stay little longer to be with their uncle, is it possible?" She poured all the information at him.
