Chapter 8: EatJin

The day before our first practice session since the incident.

Today was the day we decided I would try out my-our- plan.

To say I'm anxious would be an understatement.

I was terrified.

Terrified of what our beloved Army will think.

Terrified of throwing up.

Terrified of it not working.

Terrified of disappointing my dongsaengs.

Just pure terror.

But all the love I've been getting from them gives me strength (Strong Power)

and I think I'm ready.

I'm sat in front of a platter of food

I have a long sleeved shirt on

I have a camera pointed at me.

"I'm ready." I say to myself out loud before I start the Vlive.

No turning back now.

"Hello!!" I say to the camera after people got the notification.

"I'm think I'm starting this new thing where I eat some food, how does that sound?"

'Great!!'

'Wonderful'

'I love you Jin!!'

Comments where poring into the chat like a flash flood.

"For our first one of these I'm going to be eating 떡볶이!" I try to say without trembling.

I steadied my hand before grabbing for my chopsticks and taking a small portion of the rice cakes.

I brought the to my mouth, chewed, then swallowed.

"mmMMMH!" I exclaimed.

'That look's good!'

'I'm glad you're eating, you were looking thin..'

'I lOVE YOU SEOKJIN!'

I started to relax as time went on.

I ate half the dish before I started to feel nauseous.

"Oh! It seems we've run out of time." I cheerfully exclaimed. "Be expecting more of these in the future. 사랑해~"

I winked at the camera before quickly shutting it off.

The nauseousness hit me like a wave when I stood up.

When I arrived at the bathroom stood in there was my six (6) lovely dongsaengs standing there with soft looks.

Today when I threw up I had people rubbing my back.

Today when I hurt people were there for me.

Today I was loved

and I think I can get used to it.

Things won't be easy, I know

but I think this is a start.
