Their partnership and relationship in the games and the comics is just beautiful! OMG!
It's like falling in love with your best friend, cause they're best friends. And when Rouge said she'll never leave Shadow no matter what, is so CUTE!!
Plus, Rouge is one of two people Shadow trusts the most, regarding Omega. And Rouge is Shadow's best friend, these two are bound to talk and learn more about each other.
Even if Shadow seems to not care, he has emotions down there and it will show itself.
I shipped this, WAY back before I even shipped SonAmy, heck, before when I actually became attached to STH!
