Later that day, I was in Eli's office for my lessons. He was showing me how to set up the taxes for the company when he got a phone call.

"Keep looking through those receipts," Eli told me as he patted my shoulder. He answered the phone, but talked in a hushed tone, so that I couldn't hear. The door clicked open and Maisie appeared in the doorway. I smiled at her and waved, she smiled back,

"Mr Mills-" Maisie tries to talk to Eli, but is cut off by the man's stressed voice,

"Not now, Maisie." I looked at Maisie to see that she was about to speak again,

    "Maisie, don't-"

"Will you two please be quiet!"

Eli had cut off my attempt to help, by yelling at the both of us. I let out an exhale of surprise and Maisie backed away. Eli's eyes shifted between the both of us, before finally settling on Maisie.

"I'm sorry, honey, this is an important call." Eli looked at me then back at Maisie, with a small smile, "If you and Alice want to go up to the library, I'll meet you up there in a few minutes." Maisie nodded and started to leave the room, "I'll tell you all about it, I promise." Eli seemed to be impatiently waiting to get back on the phone. Maisie had left with one final

"Okay." I, however, had become suspicious. Eli had never yelled at us before or talked to us in this way.

"Are you trying to get rid of us?" I asked as I slowly stood from my seat. Eli looked at me with eyes that held anger, and embarrassment.

"I told you to go with your sister. We'll continue your lessons later." His voice remained calm and steady, but I saw that he was itching to have me gone.

"Fine, but don't think that you'll be able to hide whatever you're doing, for very long." I walked past Eli and out of the office expecting to hear the door slam or, at least, click closed. I turn to see that the door hasn't been touched and remains open, so I walk back to the door to see what Eli is talking about.

"Wheatley?" I hear the slight shake in his voice, "Get those animals here now." I furrow my eyebrows, Is he talking about the dinosaurs?, I think to myself. "Bring her to me first." After he says this, I hear him put the phone down, so I start to quietly run toward the library.

"Maisie, quick, start breathing heavily, like me!"

I had just gotten into the library and was breathing heavily,

"Why?" She asked as she put down the book she was holding.

"Because I need you to," I say, waving my hands in order to spur her on. She complies and starts to breathe more heavily, just as Eli comes into earshot.

"So-" Eli stops and looks at the both of us, who are practically hyperventilating, and furrows his eyebrows, "Why are you two breathing so hard?" Maisie looks at me for an answer and I quickly think one up,

"We were just laughing at something that I had seen the other day." I look at Maisie and she slowly starts to nod in agreement.

"Yes, she told me about a comedy show she was watching on the T.V." I smiled wider because I knew that Maisie had caught on. Eli didn't seem totally convinced, but let it slide anyways. He didn't seem too concerned about what we could have been doing, but I made sure that he didn't dwell on it for too long,

"So have you made progress with the dinosaurs?"
