(Y/N) POV

Today was a new day full of joy, excitement, and crippling loneliness, i didn't get much sleep last night because i had so many questions running through my head, like who was that voice i heard? was i really in love or was it just lust? who was that statue of? i didn't want to get out of bed because of my sleep but i still did because i was supposed to meet with steven and the others to no only discuss about are situation but to also hon my swordsmanship, because I'm...well decent, connie was way better probably because she had more training, but anyway i got up did my daily routine through on some old clothes i had laying around and walked into town, i then bump into a man who looked like he was in his mid 20's, he had blond hair with brown roots showing, he was wearing jacket the bottom half was light gray and the top half was dark gray, the sleeves were light gray, he had a black dress shirt and black dress pants and shoes, he had a bright red belt "Sorry, i must be on my way!" he said in a quick worried way, he also had a accent in which i immediately recognized him as the statue and the voice i heard on that island yesterday, i turned to see him run into a alley way, i chased after him calling out things like 'WAIT!' and 'SLOW DOWN!' and 'I JUST WANT TO TALK!' eventually i had lost him then i heard some type of wheezing, like a machine struggling to work properly, after losing him i just decided to go to Steven's

Small Time Skip

I just arrived at steven's i knocked on the door, steven answered the door "oh hey (Y/N) come in the gems are on a mission" he told me as i entered his house he had his cheeseburger backpack on the couch like he was getting ready to go somewhere "what's with the bag?" i asked he turned to me with a hm "oh, i going to meet lars" i gave him questioning look "oh, i forgot you don't know who he is" he then explained to me who lars was, after he told me everything i realized something "STEVEN, YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS RIGHT?" i yelled jumping from my seat on his couch scaring him "what?" he said in a surprised tone "we can use lars ship to get blue back!" i exclaimed to him "you're right!" he said now grabbing his back backpack walking towards lion i stopped him midway "what about the gems?" i asked him "uhh..." he said not knowing what to say next until a idea popped in my head "looks like it's a stealth mission then" i told steven with a smile he then got a giddy look on his face "but first i need to get something from my house" i told him as lion stood up steven mounted him, i was a little hesitant at first but i got on eventually we rode lion all the way to my house i went in grab a backpack because i knew it would probably take a couple of days, i then changed my outfit to (F/O)(favorite outfit), i grabbed my sword i use when i train with pearl, i then looked through my drawers until i spotted it my revolver now i had to decide whether to take it or not

Steven's POV

after waiting a few minutes, (Y/N) came back out with new clothes and a back pack, "i'm ready" he said in a upbeat tone he sound happier than usual "do you want to bring connie?" he asked me, which i had a immediate answer "yeah" i said hopping on lion with (Y/N) following, we started heading into town to get connie, "steven?" (Y/N) asked "yeah?" "you like her, don't you?" he asked me "who?" "connie, you like her don't you?" i started blushing "i'll take that as a yes" he said staying quite for most of the ride to connie's "why don't you ask her on a date?" he asked me catching me off guard "i-i don't know how" "it's easy, just ask her it doesn't have to be special or anything, just ask her,the worst thing that can happen is that she says 'no',but you should probably ask her later after all of what's going on is over" he said as we arrived at connies "thanks for the advice (Y/N)" i told him as i walked towards connie's house, i knocked on her door, it opened to reveal connie "oh hey steven" she said to me "i was wanting to know if you wanted to come with me and (Y/N), we're going to meet lars and possibly fight some gems!" i said doing some air karate chops "heck yeah,let me just grab my sword" she said running back inside her house,after waiting a few seconds she came back with the sword "i'm ready" we walked over to (Y/N) and lion "so steven how does lions mane exactly work?" (Y/N) asked "oh it's bigger on the inside, like it's own universe" i told him trying to give my best explanation to him "so it's like a tardis" he said "what?" me and connie said at the same time "y'know a tardis from doctor who" he said confusing me and connie even more "ok when all of this over with im going to have to show doctor who" he said.
