The earth shakes and groans beneath the massive lone tower that rose above the roof of a dense and magical forest of ancient oaks. As the earth continued to violently shake around the tower, birds and other wood-dwelling creatures would flee from the leaves and branches of the trees as they began to sink into the ground. It all seemed to stem from the tower itself, though at this point, it was beginning to crumble apart and the ground beneath it was splitting open.

The event could be heard for miles across the land, making all those near to stop and turn their heads to the unusual sounds coming from the foreboding woods that even the wood elves would not venture alone. But the sound of the earth splitting and trees wildly crashing into each other would raise some concern. But all too suddenly the worrying sounds would cease completely.

The tower appeared to be gone, in its place, a gaping hole leading into a cavern where the crumbled ruins of the tower now lay still in the cavern's underground pond, where the water was crystal clear. And now as if it never happened, the vast woods would return to their quiet state where only the sounds of birds chirping their songs and the soft breeze flowing through the leaves could be heard. While it seemed all had returned to normal, the cavern of which the tower crumbled into would have an otherworldly sense to it as if something even larger than just a hole into a cavern was opened.
