𝐀 𝐃𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐊 approached Victoria, its head swiveling back and forth in its state of panic. "You know the Doctor! You understand him! You will predict his actions!" it screeched at her.

"Actually, I've only just met him," she replied with a shrug, trying not to flinch as she heard her voice flutter in fear.

The Dalek begun to glide dangerously close, needing to get the answers out of her. "Predict! Predict! Predict!"

"TARDIS detected in flight!" another screeched to the one rounding on Victoria. She sighed in relief that the Dalek's attention moved away from her. She decided, that now, her babbling about things she didn't know would be useless, especially with this heartless race.

"𝐖𝐄'𝐕𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐓 incoming!" Jack shouted as he, Rose and the Doctor frantically manned the controls, the whole ship shaking as two missiles hurtled into the TARDIS. "The extrapolator's working, thank God for Victoria. We've got a fully functional force field. Try saying that when you're drunk..." Jack cheered, his mood lightened now that he knew Victoria was safe.
