[[ JIYOO ]]

Changgu smiled at me, the kind of smile that seemed to say, "I'm glad to see you."

"What are you doing here?" I asked him. Unlike yesterday that he was wearing casual clothes, today, he looked so handsome in tie and black suit. His eyeglasses were fogging up.

He swallowed hard, out of breath, before saying, "Jiyoo-ssi, hi! I... was looking for you."

I looked down at my watch and smiled up at him. "Do you want to get some drinks?"

I slid the cup of hot chocolate towards Changgu as we sat inside the university's coffee shop. "I hope you like marshmallows. I ask the barista to put some." I told him.

He smiled. "Yeah, of course, I love marshmallows."

I wrapped my hands around the my own warm cup. "So, what brings you here?"

"Oh, well, I was thinking about the story you're writing and I made some research that could help you." He said, reaching for his bag and taking out a brown envelope. "Here," He pushed it across the table. "I made some notes too. Maybe you'd like to go over them for reference."

I flipped through the pages and a smile curled up on my lips at his quite messy handwriting on the scribbled notes here and there. My heart felt warmer than the hot chocolate we were having. I looked up at him and he smiled at me before hiding it behind his cup. "Whoa, I don't know what to say." I said, "First off, thank you. Really."

He nodded, "No problem." He said, "And by the way, I don't think it's wishful thinking. I think it's amazing that you're trying to raise awareness and hope to people through this story."

"Really?"

"Really. A hundred one percent."

I chuckled. "I don't know. It'll be a short story. My prof said she would have her best pick posted on the university's student site. I don't think I'm that amazing in writing."

"Do you need help in writing?" He asked.

I raised an eyebrow, smiling. "Why? Do you write?"

He grinned, shaking his head quickly. "No, no, but I know someone who's a writer. She might be able to help."

"Really? Who?"

"Jo Hyunjoo. She wroteㅡ"

"No way! You know Jo Hyunjoo? I love her two books!" I said in bewilderment. "Well, she's quite popular among my girl classmates. One time I was so bored I borrowed a book from the girl who sits next to me in English lectures and it's Jo Hyunjoo's. I really loved it, so I bought her recent one and read it in one sitting."

Changgu's eyes widened. "Really? Woah, I didn't know Hyunjoo is so popular."

"So, you really do know her? Woah,"

He took his phone and swiped through it for a while before showing me a group photo. "The girl in the middle next to the guy who's next to me is Hyunjoo. This was taken last year. Summer."
