Meanwhile, he had stopped looking for you and sat down. The stress of this situation striking him all at once. He wasn't sure you were okay and he just wanted you right next to him. Soon enough all of his storming thoughts led him to cry. This would be the beacon that guided you to him. It broke your heart but at least you could find him and fix it just as quick.

You followed the sound of his sadness and eventually found him. He almost squeezed you to death. Then you guided him back to camp while holding his hand. You felt like you had just found a child rather than a big muscly man. That didn't bother you though because you knew that it was making him feel better.

That was really all you wanted to do for him at this moment.

Wendy

You were stuck with watching Wendy since your task that day was the least dangerous. You weren't too happy about that, considering every other time you were made to be around the girl. Whatever... You supposed one afternoon couldn't hurt. With these being your first thoughts on it you could find the energy to watch her.

This wouldn't last long because you had at one point lost her. You felt the panic rush blood through your veins at impossible speeds. It wouldn't be good if she got hurt under your watch because you didn't keep a close enough eye on her. The scoldings and the guilt. They would consume you real fast.

You needed to find her quick.

Spending a lot of your time backtracking, you ended up looking for her for at least four hours. You found her sitting on a fallen tree that you had passed a while ago.

Really... She just didn't follow you huh?

You were so mad that you considered leaving her there.

You didn't though, you brought her back safely with none of your work done. Getting scoldings now for a different reason. How irritating.

Webber

Your heart nearly dropped when you realized the precious young boy wasn't beside you. Fear for what could happen to him made you find him as quickly as possible. You found him completely unharmed, watching something that you couldn't see. You decided you better make sure that it wasn't something dangerous.

You walked up to him, "Webber, don't scare me like that. You could've gotten hurt out here."Sorry, (name). I was just watching the ants!", He said turning back to, sure enough, an anthill. You watched them too for a second. That was when a thought hit you. The spiders here could get huge right? What if the ants have evolved to be harmful! Or what if they evolve right before your eyes to take over this realm and harm anyone in there way!

... You decided to make Webber get away from the anthill.

Wes

You and him were tasked with mining gold. That was all well and good. One of the easiest tasks you could be assigned to. On your way there though you looked over your shoulder and noticed that Wes was gone. Knowing that he was the perfect chew toy for most of the monsters in this realm, you began to search every spot you thought he could be.

It was around the time that you checked behind that same bush three times that you felt a tap on your shoulder. It was Wes. He shrugged at you and you replied to that with demands that he tell you where he went. At first he tried to tell you through his normal mime acts. You eventually had him write it down.

Turns out that he had never gotten lost. He was with you the whole time and he somehow stayed out of your vision.

You felt stupid and wondered how that comedy trope made it into your life.

Wigfrid

You were so worried for your armor clad lover. You guys had gone out to shave some Beefalo and then she was gone. That was three weeks ago. At that point everyone at camp was trying to convince you that finding her was a lost cause. Three weeks missing in this realm pretty much usually meant death.

You held out hope even with their words. You knew that your favorite warrior wouldn't have fallen so easily.

You were right.

Out in the fields you were getting grass to make some rope. Then you heard a familiar war call. Immediately turning towards it you saw Wigfrid running at you. She dropped her spear and pulled you into a tight embrace which you happily returned. She was finally back! You were so happy!

"Wig! W-Where did you go!?"

She looked at you, puffing her chest out, and hammering a fist against it, "I lost you while we were shaving the grass grazing beasts. I went looking for you. When I didn't find you I thought you were captured and I went on a search to fall those who stole you from my arms!"

... Huh, that was kind of. Touching?

WX-78

You really didn't want to be on this search for the 50th time this week. The others were worried about that robot's disappearance. Not really because they were worried about his well being, but worried that he might be plotting to 'kill all meatlings'. No one wanted to leave him out there with that possibility.

You didn't think that you would find him at this point though. Not until you thought of going down in the caves. You really didn't want to do that but you would for everyone else.

Sure enough, once you went down into the darkness you found him. He was sitting among the lightbulb plants and mushrooms. You approached him, and with a heavy sigh you got ready to question him. You had the distinct feeling that whatever he was going to say would make you angry.

"What happened? How did you get lost?", You said, not even trying to mask your annoyance.

"I WAS TRYING TO GET LOST FROM YOU MEATLINGS. NOW WOULD YOU KINDLY LET ME BE LOST AGAIN!"

Yep... You certainly were seeing red now.

Wickerbottom

Losing her wasn't a very big deal. She was old but you knew that she definitely wasn't senile. She had to have a plan to get back to camp. With or without you. With that in mind, you went back without her and later that night as predicted she returned. Explaining that she got sidetracked while out with you. She was getting knowledge about a plant she saw that she had never seen before.

She found out that it had painkilling properties.

Not only did she get back herself she made a new discovery!

Why couldn't you be that good...?

Maxwell

The both of you went together in the night to get fireflies. It seemed like it would be easy as long as you had a lot of torches with you. The capturing of fireflies went okay, but you realized that you had lost your partner in the dark. You were really scared, did the darkness kill him while you weren't looking?

You covered the area you were capturing fireflies in thoroughly. Even though you felt like your body was going to make you collapse from exhaustion. In the end he was nowhere to be found. Still feeling the panic settling in your bones, you realized that you would have to wait until morning. That way you could properly search for him.

Dejectedly, you went back to camp.

Seeing the campfire as you went towards base you felt your worry be replaced with annoyance when you saw Maxwell. Sitting down around the fire and leaning back with his hands behind his head.

What the hell?

You stormed up to him, "Where did you go!?"

He smiled at you as you scowled at him, "Well, I finished early. Therefore I came back. Is there a problem with that?"

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Do I have to tell you everything, my dear?", It was obvious by the look on his face and his tone that he was messing with you.

You wanted to slap him, but you already learned your lesson the first time.
