The Parallel Universe

Chapter 1

May 25th, 2018    ~Prologue~

We were all there when the sun went out... I was walking my dog, Jiggles. We walked under an orange-tinted  sky. We were almost home, when the while neighborhood walked onto their front lawns. All heads were turned up towards the sky like they were hypnotized.

By now, the streets were empty and it was as if a light went out-pitch black. I was crying and just praying that this was only a dream. I thought I closed my eyes for only a second, but it looked like years have gone by. ... I was Nowhere.

Oh no,3 This can't be happening, where am I. Hello, can anyone hear me!

May 18th, 2018

School was Horrible .  We did nothing but watch stupid videos, and take notes. My friends Abby, Cassie, and I pretty much jus goofed off the whole time though. We were split apart at least twice in every class, and all three of us got lunch detentions.

Right now Abby cassie and I are all going to my house. When we got there, Abby ran straight into the kitchen and grabbed some chips. Cassie and I were giggling at her actions.

"What are you guys laughing at?" Abby glared at us.

Cassie and I both started laughing at her, and said " Nothing, its just at you're obsessed with food!"

"I am not!" Abby tried arguing back, but knew she was actually obsessed with food...

She looked at us funny, and then walked into the living room, sat down and then turned on some SpongeBob. Cassie and I went to go sit by her too. We were laughing the whole time, and weren't even watching the show.

At around 6 pm, Abby had to go home, so I begged my parents to let cassie stay over. They weren't to fond of letting her stay, because it was a school night, but I just kept begging.

Cassie and I fell asleep around 10, and woke up at 6 to get ready for school. I put on some grey sweat pants, and a purple sweatshirt.Lazy day for me I guess.

My mom drove us to school, because she on her way to work anyways.

When we got to school, we went to our lockers, and grabbed all of our stuff, and went to our first class English. I mean, English is an ok class, but all we do id read or write... Today was a free read day, so I read my all favorite book IT.

* Skip to the end of the day*

"Bye Cassie! Bye Abby! See you guys tomorrow?

I was walking to my Mom's car when something really weird happened... the sky got really dark, everything went pitch black for a moment. I got in the car, to see my mom didnt even seem fazed at all by what just happened... Something was up,I just couldn't put my finger on it.

*Skip to when she gets home*

I walk up to my room and sit don on my bed. I was listening to music, when...It's like the lights turned off again.

I turned off my music, and then ran downstairs to see my mom curled up under a blanket reading.

She looked up when I asked her "Did you see that?"

She shook her head and asked what im talking about.

"I'm talking about how it looked like some just shut the lights off, Everywhere. I said

She looked at me like I had grown a second head, and then said, "What are you talking about... Im pretty sure it was just a cloud passing over the sun."

I was bout to argue about that, but I just went up to my room and turned my music back on and started to clean my room.
