The following morning you, Yuki, and Pink joined Bo and GT in Tokyo. There had recently been a trigger case involving a tour bus and a cat. Night Crawler had sent word detailing that his mom had been involved- too personal for the vigilante- in your opinion. Even though you all were actual licensed heroes, your underground status allowed you to work with vigilantes. It actually made it easier to track and control a lot of drug related crimes.

Touching down in Tokyo, the five of you exited the plane. In your professional experience, Bo was a MUCH better pilot than Kazuma, and you relished missions where the sexy, shaved-head woman was a member. The jet was her baby and she flew it as if it was an extension of herself. The ecstasy on her face as she flew and wove between buildings or around cities and between storms was unrivaled, it excited but also terrified you. You just couldn't understand the underlying sexual gratification she got from flying the jet. It was probably a control thing. Yeah, that sounded right. When she flew the plane she had control over the whole team's future and her own fate - it made sense. Working with her in any other setting she loved being the lead, or at least the most vocal player.

"Alright, now that we are here. Let's make our way to their HQ." GT announced, and you all followed. Everyone was suited up and ready to go, which was odd, but you just had to get over to the roof next door, easy as cake! You build a nice bridge connected the two buildings, the recent rain making your life much easier.

"Thanks Y/N, it's always handy to have you around" Yuki said with a smile. You knew they meant only kind things, but it wasn't the best compliment to be given. You were handy? You'd prove yourself more than handy this mission, and everyone after that. Since you were working with people you knew professionally, therefore, you were dressed as Green Trident. On the roof, you expected something either extravagant or surreptitious. Instead, before you was a small, rectangular home that was separate from the apartment building. As if someone had made a shelter on the roof to rent to naïve and unsuspecting renters. GT led the way, as if he had already made rendezvous with the vigilantes you normally worked with. The three that you paired with were Crawler, Pop Step, and Knuckleduster. The three of them truly were a troupe of fools, but they were hard working and determined to wipe out all traces of the drug Trigger. GT knocked twice, you heard a muffled "Oh coming!" From behind the front door, when suddenly it was opened quickly by a huffing young man with dark hair. He was slender, and taller than you... who was he? A female voice called from within.

"Who is it Koichi?" A voice that was oddly familiar... Pop Step?

"Oh! It's the Tridents, in full regalia. Time to debrief our Pro-Heroes!" This threw you off. These were the actual citizens behind the vigilantes Pop Step and Crawler... your teammates removed their helmets and smiled at the young people. You remained frozen with a helmet. You couldn't just take your helmet off, this was only one facet of yourself.

"Green, take your helmet off. We don't need to be super formal today." Koichi stated, he didn't realize the inner turmoil you were experiencing. Pink placed a hand on your shoulder, and whispered so that no one else heard.

"Remove the helmet, keep your scales activated." And with that, you pulled your helmet off, your yellow eyes contrasting your emerald scales. You watched as his eyes widened.

"Whoa! You're like a lizard or a fish!" You facepalmed at his statement, what a fool.

With formalities aside, you all began to collaborate on the joint mission.

10 hours later

Your chest heaved up and down, trying to catch your breath. You'd finally defeated the rampaging Trigger user. Exhaustion was evident, your legs shook as you kept yourself up. You crouched down and called for assistance. Who would've thought that two maniacal Trigger users were going to be so incredibly troublesome.

"Pink, what's your status?" You spoke into your transmitter. Waiting for your friend's response you began to float the two unconscious behemoths towards the police station nearby. Oh you were so tired. It was as if your physical body was on autopilot, your mind floated listlessly inside your body. Not thinking or focusing, just moving towards the station to complete your part of the mission. You didn't even remember the walk to the station, but once you walked through the door, you became aware of your surroundings. You released your hold on the two perpetrators and they fell to the ground with a splat. The police rushed to apprehend them, while the head detective approached you, he recognized you from the raid on the LOV hideout and the recent joint missions your agency conducted with the police. He saw you briefly wobble before you caught yourself and he approached you.

"Green Trident, right? Here come with me and get some water. You must be tired after dealing with those two." You only nodded, helmet obscuring her view of your face. Following him to his office you sat down on his guest chair and accepted the large glass of water her offered. You removed your helmet, and to his surprise, your face was covered in scales, but your topaz eyes weary but also striking. Your yellow eyes on your dark green face reminded him of cat eyes in the darkness. You drank the water greedily, sucking it down hoping it would replenish you enough so you could get back to HQ.

"Thank you for your kindness, I appreciate it. We've worked together in the past, but your name is escaping me. What was it again?" You asked, as polite as you could while you loudly gasped for air after chugging the water.

"No worries, you provided more support the last mission, but as I remember you were the one who got a tracker on Dabi. My name is Detective Tsukauchi Naomasa." He smiled gently at you, finally realizing how small you were. It was possible you were just short for an adult, and maybe less developed. But he had a feeling that you were the promising student All Might had mentioned.

"Now, Green Tri-" "you can just call me Green."  You interrupted, once again as politely as you could.

"Ah, right, Green. Will you be participating in the upcoming raid that your agency is supporting?" You straightened your spine at his question. You would be participating, but as Neon Splash... you couldn't lie and you didn't think it was prudent to expose yourself to this man.

You thought you'd hidden your alarm at his question, but the detective was incredibly observant. He checked another box in his mind, you were becoming the most likely candidate that his hero friend talked about.

"I'm not sure if I've been read-in on that mission Detective... but hopefully we continue to work together in some capacity to bring peace and justice to the world." You hoped that this was a good cover for your pause. Yeah, I'm fine. I'm a cucumber, smooth, cool, & watery.. your inner thoughts almost made you laugh, but you kept it in.

You then put your helmet back on, only to hear Pink finally responding to your call.

"Y/N!! Answer me! Where are you?!" She was hysterical.

"Pink, chillax. I'm a cucumber. Wait, sorry, I'm fine, at the police station. Dropped my perps off and I'm drinking water now. Where you at?" You responded.

"HA! Cucumber! Ok, coming your way. I've got 1 guy, be there soon." She responded, relaxed that you were ok.

You had good friends and coworkers, they definitely made this double life you led much more fun than it would've been otherwise.

"Detective, let your men know that Pink Trident is on her way to deliver another Trigger victim." And with those words, you sauntered off to refill your glass, some high quality H2O could do wonders for a girl, wouldn't ya know??
