Shivering, I have goosebumps,
It's cold in the clouds, in the stars.
I'm floating in the night sky,
Am I dead? Asleep?
Maybe I'm dreaming,
But still, I can feel the cold?
Are the shadows on the wall,
really chasing after my shadow?
It must be some sort of Day Dream,
I'll wake up soon, you'll see.
Just not yet, I like it,
I like the danger.
I'm in a grey cloud,
It feels wet, and sounds so angry.
It's thunder, it'll strike down to the Earth.
I'll watch the lightening forks.
I crawl to the edge of the cloud,
I'm staring down and the white.
The zig-zag that lights up the sky,
Only for a second, or two.
I suddenly fall from my grey cloud,
But I don't scream.
I just listen to the remains of the storm,
And the sound of running water.
I land in a flower bed,
It smells like honey and roses.
Birds start to sing around me,
Their song hypnotizes me.
I fall asleep in my Day Dream,
only to wake up at home.
I smell supper coming from the kitchen.
I'm awake, but I'll go back soon.
