Dear God, I wish that I could see,
To see what is inside me, to know I'm not alone.
God please I want to be loved!
Not just by you, even though your great,
God I wish I could see.
Dear God, I wish it wasn't so hard,
It's hard enough living in a world of dark.
God I've been abandoned, please give me a home!
I need someone to take me in,
God I wish it wasn't so hard.
Dear God, I wish I could speak,
I can't speak up to those who look down on me.
God they don't listen to me I need,
I need someone to listen.
God I wish I could speak.
Dear God, I wish I was brave,
I can never face my fear that hurts me.
God they hurt me,
Help me stand up!
God I wish I was brave.
Dear God, I wish I knew,
If I knew what was good for me I'd listen to you.
God I try to listen to you,
I need you to talk to me!
God I wish I knew.
Dear God, I wish they would stop,
They won't stop what evil they do.
God they hate the faithful,
They kill our families!
God I wish they would stop.
Dear God, I wish I was special,
I'm not special like you in your kingdom.
God I need something to support me,
Something to show me the way!
