When Draco woke up, he was in a den. Behind him was the cat-sized hole he had seen the cats emerge. It now let in sunlight. Around him, the other cats were starting to wake.

"Good." a voice said behind him. Draco turned to see the black she-cat from before. "You're awake."

"Where are we? And what have you done to me?" Draco asked, turning on her.

"Be patient." the she-cat replied. "I will explain when your friends wake." She stepped closer to him. "Don't be worried, Dragonblood. This is all StarClan's will."

Draco looked at her. "My name is not Dragonblood! It's Draco!" He looked closer, and could see the cat had a scar over her left eye.

The she-cat shook her head. "In your home, you were Draco. But here, you are Dragonblood." She turned to look at the others. "Your friends are awake."

Draco turned to see. The dark gray tom was already sitting. Most of the others were steadying themselves to their paws. The orange tom was being helped by the silver she-cat. "What happened?" Draco screamed, scared out of his mind.

The she-cat had her paw on his shoulder before he could look. "Be patient." she told him. "Jayfeather and Lionblaze are coming."

Draco looked, and two toms were coming from farther back in the den. One was well-muscled, a gold tom with some orange tabby stripes here and there. The other was light gray, and though he had clear blue eyes, he didn't seem to be focusing.

The black she-cat nodded to all the cats. "Welcome, wizards." she announced. "I am Scar. This is Jayfeather," she nodded to the light gray cat, "And this is Lionblaze." The gold tom nodded his head.

"Excuse me," said the blue she-cat. Draco noticed she sounded like Hermione. "But, where are we? And why are we all cats?"

Scar nodded. "That stuff you put in the potion was enchanted cat hair. After that, you were under the mercy of StarClan as to where to go. They chose to bring you here."

Draco cocked his head. "How do you know that happened?"

Scar whispered something to Jayfeather. The light gray tom walked up to Draco and pressed his head against Draco's chest. Draco felt a twinge, as if Jayfeather were somewhere he shouldn't be. Then the tom retreated.

"I can see memories. And I can feel your feelings." Jayfeather said.

Scar nodded. "Lionblaze can't be killed by a mortal cat. And I...well, I am a normal rogue, like you."

"Wait," the light-gray tom said. He had Harry's lightning scar, and Draco assumed that was Harry. "What are we supposed to do?"

Scar sighed. "I think I know, but I am not sure. StarClan will help me, and I will speak with you tomorrow."

Lionblaze nodded. "Follow me. I set up nests for you in the back."

Scar looked over all the cats. "Oh, and here, you are given warrior names. We must keep the clans alive."

Draco growled. "What are you talking about? StarClan? Warriors?"

Scar looked him in the eye as she walked up to him. "Calm yourself, Dragonblood."

"It's not Dragonblood! It's Draco!"

Scar sighed. "You will find out tomorrow. I am not fully sure why you are here, but StarClan will guide my paws." She nodded to Lionblaze. "Bring them in."

Lionblaze nodded. "Shadewalker!" he called. When no cat stood up, Scar went over to the dark gray tom. She nudged him.

Draco's eyes widened as he watched the dark gray cat, who he now recognized as Snape, follow Lionblaze into the back.

"Strongheart! Moonpelt!" Scar called. She sighed when no cat stood up. "Neville! Luna!" The orange tom and the silver she-cat followed Lionblaze away.

Jayfeather called out the next three. "Lightningstrike! Squirreltail! Bluepelt!" When no one stood up, he shook his head. "Harry! Ron! Hermione!" The three left, so that only Draco was left.

Scar nodded. "Come, Dragonblood. I will take you to your nest."

When Draco entered the back of the cave, there were lines of cat-sized beds of moss on the dirt floor. Scar pointed out his on the end. But he was shocked to notice the blue-gray she-cat settling down next to his spot.

"I am not sleeping next to Hermione!" Draco snarled. "I won't stand for sleeping next to a mudblood!"

Lionblaze growled. "You do as you're told, Dragonblood."

Scar shook her head. "Go easy on him, Lionblaze. It's been a traumatic day." She turned around and motioned to Draco with her tail. "You can stay in my den. I have some extra moss."

Draco nodded, happy to be sleeping somewhere else. He followed Scar farther back into the cave, where it split in three ways. She took the center way, and he followed.

"Here." she said. The black she-cat took some moss from the back of the cavern and placed it into a nest for Draco. She laid down in her own, and Draco did the same.

"Scar," Draco asked, waiting for sleep to come. "Why are you so interested in me?"

Scar smiled. "You are an interesting character. I've never met anyone with as strong a spirit as you."

Draco glared, then asked another question. "How did you get your scar?"

Scar smiled. "The one over my eye? That was part of the Great War. I'll tell you about that tomorrow." She closed her eyes.

Draco grumbled, wanting answers. Then he let himself fall asleep.
