Chapter 35

" my brother left me here my brother actually left me here" rebekah cried

" bummer" Stefan said and we both turned our heads to glare at him

" your klaus's sister" Damon asks

" rebekah, pleasure I'm sure. Which one is my room" she asks me then Stefan laughs.

" your not staying here" Stefan laughs

" along the corridor and the last room on your left it's the room next to mine" I told her ignoring Stefan

" thank you" she smiled and then went up the stairs

" M, she's not staying here" Damon says. Urgh I hate it when he calls me M

" Damon she's my best friend she's been with me through so much just like I have with her" I told him

" she causes any kind of chaos I'll throw her out myself" Damon told me

" please rebekah would rip out your guts quicker than you can lift a finger" I told him and then went out to rebekah's room.

" so what are we doing today shopping, going to the grill, moping all day cause you broke up with my brother" she says and I glared at her

" thank you for that. Be quiet about that Damon and Stefan still don't know." I told her

" OK. So what are we doing today" she asks

" Well actually I have to go to school it's the first day back and if I want art school to accept me I need to have 100% attendance. Hey why don't you come with me to school and if you like it you can go there permanently." I asked

" sure" she smiled

" we will have to leave now I normally go early to see ric" I told her and she just nodded

We drove to school and we were walking down the hallways and I was nearly in Rics class.

" you have history first period just like me along with Stefan, elena and Caroline so be back here in about 5 minutes" I told her and she smiled and walked off.

" ric" I smiled and I ran up to him and hugged him. Since I met him he's always been like a father figure to me and I wouldn't off attended art school if it wasn't for him.

" maya, I missed you" ric smiled as he hugged me back " how was hunting werewolves with Stefan and klaus

" it was... It was something " I told him" did you have a letter for art school "

Since to apply for art school you had to have a parent apply for you ric is pretending to be my father which he basically is.

" not yet but don't worry you have loads of talent " he assured me and I just smiled at him

" how are you about the whole jenna thing I never got to ask" I asked him

" im... Making it" he told me and I just put my hand on his arm as a comforting sign and then I heard the bell go.

It didn't take long when people came storming in with their friends and sat down so I decided to take my seat. My eyes glanced at Stefan as he walked in and I saw someone sat in his seat.

Poor guy

" Move out of my seat" Stefan ordered and the boy scarcely moved to the next seat and Stefan just smiled and took a seat

" welcome back seniors. Let's turn our brains back on starting with uh this country original founders. The native Americans" alaric was talking but then he got cut off by bekah.

" what about the vikings" rebekah asked as she took a seat next to me

" there's no evidence that the viking explorers actually settled in the United States" ric said sbd the he asked " who are you?"

" my name is rebekah I'm new. I'm maya's friend and history is my favourite subject" rebekah smile.

I turned my head and I saw elena and Caroline glaring at me because rebekah said I was her friend and I just rolled my eyes.

I was at my locker before cheerleading practice started when rebekah stopped at my locker.

" nice outfit" rebekah said

" thanks I have cheerleading practice in a minute and I just had to my books in my locker how's your first day going" I asked.

" it's going good, I am actually loving school and I never thought I would" she said and I was happy she was getting along here. She was finding her place.

" I'm happy for you" I told her and she hugged me and I hugged her back

" do you mind if I try out for cheerleading" she asked

" of course not its your choice" I told her and she smiled then walked off and I shut my locker about to walk off then elena stopped me.

" do you have a minute" she asked

" just a minute cheerleading is starting in a minute" I told her. I decided to forgive elena even though I knew 8 probably shouldn't

" how could you be friends with rebekah? She bit me just because she thought I had her necklace. She's evil maya she's just like klaus" elena told me

" rebekah just trying to find her place elena and you can't be mad at me for that. Me and bekah have been friends before the 20th century and I love her like a sister. I love Damon more than words but do I need to remind you how ric got this job or how Caroline got tangle up in the supernatural world " then my voice got softer" you gave Damon a second chance why won't you give her one? "

Then I just walked off to cheerleading leaving her in the hallways and I went out to the rest of the cheerleaders where they were stretching and I put my hair in a pony tail.

" has anyone seen dana " Caroline asked

" looks like you have and opening on the squad" rebekah came in

" what are you doing" Caroline asks but rebekah ignores her while stretching

" you just come here and ilfrontrate all of our lives" Caroline told her

" I'm only interested in yours your slunk, your popularity... And maybe even your boyfriend" she smiles then Caroline stormed off

" maybe try not to piss caroline off" I smiled

" wanna see something cool" I asked her and and she nodded

I did a backward  somersault then I did and ariel cartwheel and I ended in  the splits and everybody cheered.

" OK now you copy everything that I did." I told her and she did everything i did perfectly

" wooh" the crowd cheered and I hugged get and she hugged back

Then one of the cheerleaders came up to us

" hey are you guys coming to the part that we're having in the woods. It's a bacj to school party everybody will be there" she asks

" yes... We both will" rebekah answered for me when I was going to say no and when the cheerleader was gone I gave her a look.

" you got that death stare from Nik how cute" she smiles

" rebekah I didn't want to go to this party thing" I told her ignoring what she says

" oh come on it will be fun" she smiled and then she walks off and I check my phone and it says

1 missed call from Nik
