Color Guard/Band Stuff

So we listened to the judges tapes from the competition and apparently our guard uniforms are too feminine...? They show too much femininity (what the hecc) because that's a thing.

And they said the silent 9 part was awkward because they didn't know if the song was over... but that's how it's supposed to be. It's supposed to make you think the show is over but then the band plays the last notes. So our band director wants one of the trumpets to play through it and I don't like it...

And our band director also said that the flags could do more in the drum break. (This is the part of the last song when the drumline and rifles have solos. What is the point of having flags doing something during the rifles' solos? That would be distracting from the rifles.)
