Peridot held the blue gem, staring in utter disbelief, she rolled it around in her palm then placed it back on the 'Gem cussion'.

She was concerned that they had one for this specific purpose.

The pale yellow cussion crinkled under the weight of the Gem. The tear drop glistened and seemed to stare with a painful intensity at her. Peri could feel the rolling waves of the sea crashing against her skin as she stated downwards.

The Sea always made her think of Lapis. An aura of coolness and the calmness floated through each breath she took. A scary, yet beautiful intensity flowed through her body and radiated from her blue eyes. Lapis was everything like the ocean.

Deep blue eyes, littered with fear and longing.

Her smile was unparalleled and it's rarity made it even more gorgeous.

Fear, joy, a calm collected feeling.

Yet, unpredictability loomed in its murky waters.

The waves could crash into the rocks knocking anyone in its path over without a moments hesitation.

Lapis was right. The diamonds did attack. But they won. And they probably wouldn't have if Lapis wasn't there. Lapis was strong and beautiful, she could take on anything.

Desperate longing filled peridot. To be back in the barn. Pumpkin barking and running around the cornfields. The T.V. blaring as Lapis curled her body around Peri, her arm layed over her side. Peridot face flushed red as Lapis snuggled up against Peri. Her warm breaths against her green neck. They would lay there until Lapis eventually woke up so they could continue watching the Season five marathon of Camp Pining Hearts for the twelfth time.

Peridot figitted on the couch trying to find a comfortable position.
She rolled over, her knees draped limply over the armrest. Her yellow tuft of hair poked at the little gem.

In a moment of longing she grabbed the Gem and held it to her chest. She cupped it tightly and gingerly tucked it under her chin.

It was cold and Smooth against the warmth of her skin.

She sighed closing her eyes and snuggling the Gem to her chest.

Then after a few seconds she let out a shriek as the Gem poked at her hand and shot up in the air.

A whitish-blue light erupted.

Peridot scrambled back on all fours, managing to push herself off the couch. She landed on the ground in a tangled heap of green limbs.

Lapis gracefully landed on the ground. A large gold star andorned her mid section, similar to Peridots.

Peridot shot up taking a step forward to the figure.

Lapis gracefully stood up, brushing the dirt off her palms.

Peri reached out her hand, standing on the tips of her toes, cupping it around Lapis' pale blue cheek.

"L-Lapis?!" Peri sputterd, a look of disbelief fills her eyes.

Her hand curled, brushing a finger over her suttle features.

"It's really you." She breathed out, barely audible.

Lapis returned that with a faint smile.

"It's really me."
