People. We are surrounded by so many people. People are actually not that different from each other. Let's start, shall we?
So many people degrade people for doing mass murders and school shootings. Psychopaths and serial killers. Gangs and mafias.
But let me ask you something. Have you ever asked, "why"? Have you ever asked yourself "why would they do something so horrible, so cold, so heartless"?
But tell me, if you were in their situation can you really tell me you wouldn't do the same?
What do I mean by "situation" you may ask.
By situation I mean if you were so close to someone that you lived for them. So close to someone they knew you better then anyone and you knew them better then anyone else did. That they were like your twin and other half. Whether it's your best friend, family or lover. If they were so close to you that they knew what you would say next or do next. If you loved them so much that if you were suicidal they were the reason you wouldn't cut, overdose, or aim a gun at yourself. If they were the reason you stopped trying to die and were able to smile and laugh.
But what if one day you lost them? What if they died or were killed right in front of you? Would you still be sane? Would you still be the same?
I can promise you something. You wouldn't. The person who cared about little kids and animals would have been lost.
We call these people murderers and psychopaths. But have you ever tried to imagine what they may have lost?
We can try to tell ourselves "oh if it were me I wouldn't have done that" but it's all lies. You can try to convince yourself that and other people but it's all lies. The cold hard truth is that you will not be the same person.
We don't realize it but emotional pain can be much much worse than physical pain. People who get tortured, when they start to do anything the person says it's not because of the physical pain. It's because that physical pain got to them mentally. That's when they turn crazy and unstable.
We tell ourselves we would never do that. That we would never become that person when in reality you can't control it. When you lose everything important to you and that hits you mentally you can't say you wouldn't become a killer or a psychopath.
We keep saying murderers deserve to die and deserve to feel pain. But there are reasons why people are like that. There are reasons why people become who they are. When they lose control of their emotional pain and just lose all emotions that's when they break. The truth is its not even their fault. It's not their fault that they became who they are now.
Every time someone changes, the truth is they didn't actually change that person was always with them. It's a them they never met. People who change don't actually change. Every choice that occurs and happens in our lives makes another personality within you. When people change they don't really change they are still them but they lost the person they once were. That person is inside of them screaming to get out but the person who has taken control has completely locked them out.
You can tell yourself as many times as you want you're a good person. Maybe yes you are a good person. But when you lose somebody important to you another you will take over. The you that you are will be locked inside a cage that you won't be able to escape.
Everyone has their own reason for becoming who they are so instead of judging them immediately try to think for a moment why they are who they are. You can convince yourself your strong but in reality, you are just like them.
You see them as psychopaths and killers but somewhere inside you someone just like them is waiting for you to break and for a chance to get out
