Near perfect. That's all that really matters in life, right? Near perfect life. Yes. That's it. Nothing will ever be perfect and she came to accept that. Her mother was dead after all. Her father doesn't talk to her anymore after the incident. It's been seven years, seven years since the mysterious car drove by. Seven years since she was killed. Since the shots were fired in the calm neighborhood in Utah. Utah of all states!
Mary Williams, an intelligent young lady. Twenty-Three years old, working as a nurse at a hospital in New York. Her long, light brown even cut hair was pulled back into a bun today. Rush hour, it was always the worst. She busted her ass during these times, trying to prove her worth here. Prove she had what it takes to keep working her, or that she was worth it.
Long days turned into late nights. Her small apartment was enough to sustain her, make her feel at home. Her box meals were all she needed, really. And a bed. Tonight though, she didn't eat. She wasn't that hungry. So she grabbed a granola bar and chewed on that until it was gone. Perched on the couch, eyeing the T.V. that distracted her from the world outside, Mary felt a smile come across her face, someone got arrested for killing someone.
Some days she wished her father had called the cops when it happened not an hour or so later. At least, that was it seemed like. Her father, Vincent Williams, was an asshole. He honestly would have killed her that one time when she was ten, but her mother was there to stop the massive yelling from him. Verbal abuse at its finest.
Amanda Jorgenson married Vincent Williams in 1990, in Utah. Mary's older brother Kade was born two years into their marriage, and three years later came Mary and a year and a half after her, Charlotte. Charlotte and Kade got along well, but Mary always seemed like the odd one out. She was smart, using her left brain stupendously, according to her doctors.
The whole reason she became a nurse is because of her intelligence. Kade is a mechanic, and Charlotte is a cheerleader in college, she studying to be a teacher. But Mary, she wants to extend her knowledge in the medical field. Become a surgeon or a doctor of some sort. But those plans changed the day she met Jasper.

Jasper Wright was the male's name. Yes, male. New for Mary, too. He had short-ish brown hair, not as light as Mary's. The male had these striking ocean blue eyes that seemed to stare back in such a warming manner. He seemed tall and had this toned body.... Stop it Mary! You met the man once and now you're fantasizing about him?! What if he's dangerous? Someone you can't trust? Oh, she could trust him alright. Dangerous? Really? You hit him with your car! And he walked it off! Well, not necessarily walked off. But he did stand up faster than what he should have.
Mary flew out of the car, nearly hitting a bystander with the door. Immediately she rushed to the side of who she just hit. "I'm so terribly sorry! Please don't yell! Oh, I'm a nurse!" She rushed out in a jumble of words that Jasper couldn't quite get at first. His head was pounding and he lay on a wet ground. Pulling himself forward, Jasper hoisted his arm under him to porp his body up, hand on his forehead and his eyes slitting open. His vision was partially blurred, he most likely had a head injury. But he was damn sure there was a lady helping him.
"Ah, you're awake! We need to get you to a hospital." The lady exclaimed in a hurry. But Jasper jolted to an upright position, standing and quickly putting both hands to his head. He ached in pain, not understanding fully why his head hurt in the first place. Before he knew it, he stumbled into the back of something. Metal feel. Jasper felt himself slouch before blacking out.
It seemed as hours passed before he woke up, in a room. As soon as he could grasp where he could possibly be, he jolted to a sitting position. Someone by his side put a hand to his shoulder though. The voice was familiar, and he turned to see a female. Long, light brown hair, brown eyes, she had a coat on. The female gently rested hm back down. "It's alright. We are at the hospital. I,uh, slightly hit you with my car."
The man couldn't comprehend quite yet, but it clicked a few moments after, but the reaction he had was not what the female was expecting. He shot back up, slightly mumbling something. The female looked confused, gently grabbing his wrist. "Sir, is something wrong?"
And to her surprise he spoke back. "My boss is going to kill me. I need to leave. Now." Jasper tried to get up, but the female held him back. Jasper, to her surprised, attempted to tug his arm back. And he got it free, but he couldn't go too far with an IV in his arm.
"Sir, you can't take that out- You'll bleed excessively and end up back here." The lady explained the best she could, assuming the male had no medical knowledge. Soon enough, a nurse walked in with a clipboard in hand. "Mr. ..." She examined the board at his name, making Jasper's heart nearly stop. "Mr. Wright. We are discharging you with a mild concussion. You need to take it easy the next couple of days, alright?"
Jasper took an internal sigh of relief. She didn't know, thank goodness. All Jasper did was smile at the nurse and thank her as she began to remove the IV. By this time, Mary had left the room, waiting outside and the male changed. When he walked through the doors and stopped to look at Mary, he looked slightly stern. "Thank you. For bringing me here."
Mary hadn't noticed his British accent before, not until now, that is. Snapping back into reality, she smiled at him, "You're welcome. I would have taken care of you myself, but I'd probably get in trouble. Don't want to-"
"You're a nurse? Can you take me to your place? I'm afraid if I head home I'll get many questions nas to why I'm late by my roommates." Jasper said, chuckling. It was true, Stone and Oni would not be happy with him.
Mary now had to do the comprehending. Did he just...? No way. "Uh, yeah, I guess I can do that." Really Williams?! Really?! She smiled at him, before leading the way to her car outside. It was raining again. As the reached the car, Mary hopped hopped into the driver's side, and Jasper in the passenger. Fiddling for her keys, Mary took them and placed them in the ignition, starting the car and heading toward her place.
Jasper was quiet for a while, before he decided to speak up. "Jasper." He had said, turning to look at the female. "Jasper Wright." The male slightly grinned, not a huge grin, but a grin.
Mary turned her head to look at him for a split second. Almost immediately as she saw the charming grin, she faced back to the road. "Mary Williams. And to answer your question from the hospital. I am a nurse." It went quiet again. Not too long before they reached the apartment complex.
As soon as they stepped out, shots were fired. Jasper ducked behind the door, and Mary ducked behind the car. "What the hell was that?!" Mary hollered, her heart was going a million miles per hour. Jasper took something from a bag he had received just before they left the hospital. More shots were fired.
Then silence. Mary crawled over the seat to were Jasper was, and immediately froze. He had a gun. A small one, but it was still a gun. Jasper was breathing heavily, he didn't get hit luckily. His head cocked to look at Mary, a look of relief in his eyes. "Stay here." He instructed.
Jasper stood and drew the gun again, no more shots. The male dashed around to the driver's side after closing the passenger door. He hopped in and shut the door, started the car, and took off. With Mary in the passenger seat. "Mary, I need you to remain calm. I'll explain everything when we get to where we are going."
Mary didn't answer, she was too petrified with fear to move, too scared to even speak. She let Jasper drive, and she stared out the window, eyes wide and breath heightened. A snapping noise in her ear made to snap back to reality. Literally.
Jasper was doing the snapping, he also was very close. Closer than what he had been before. "Hey, we are here." He said, making Mary's eyes blink a few times before she looked around. They were in a building's garage. There were a couple men who had walked towards the car. One was wearing a trench coat and a fedora. As soon as he noticed Mary, his eyebrows furrowed slightly.
"Who is this, Wright?" He said, arms folded across his chest. He had slate gray eyes, slightly brown hair that was more blonde than anything, and he was taller than Jasper. About six foot, she assumed. Jasper's accent made her zoning out come back to reality.
"She hit me with her car earlier, we were nearing her place when we were shot at." Jasper explained. A good explanation at that. His gaze turned to Mary. "Her name is Martha-"
    "It's Mary. Mary Williams."
"Right. Mary." Jasper said slowly, looking to the taller male. He didn't look amused by the situation.
"Bring her inside, we need to clear her mind. Make her forget about us." He said, before turning his back to the vehicle. Another man, who was darker in skin tone and was about the other male's height grabbed hold of Mary. Jasper had followed after the other male.
"Sir! Sir!" Jasper would holler as he followed the male. He didn't respond. "Stone!" That got his attention. He whipped around so fast that poor Jasper ran into him. The shorter male looked up to him. "She helped me, sir."
The male who Mary now knew as Stone, looked towards Mary who was a few feet away now with the dark toned male. HIs eyes scanned her, before he sighed. "If we don't clear her mind then she must join us."
Mary spoke up now, she was quiet for too long. "I'm sorry? Did you say join you? First of all, I don't know where I am. I don't even know what you guys do!" She said, slightly angered now. "So if I could go home, go on with my life, and eat, that would be wonderful."
Stone eyed her again, it was a long silence before he spoke again. "You are at the base for the CIA. We, or I should say, Wright and Oni there are spies. I don't trust you, so we are keeping you here, whether you like it or not."
Mary stared at the man, eyes narrowed in hatred. She took a moment before she spoke again. "Fine. But you better have good food here." That was all Stone needed, before the dark skinned male, who is known as Oni, took her inside and to a room. He had a tight grip on her arm as he led her through masses of people. Masses of people that were staring at her.
The only thing she remembered seeing that night was Jasper, or Wrightm, being yelled at in an office room. SHe had a lot to think about tonight. A lot.

The new morning came, Mary was passed out hard on the bed they had provided for her. A knock at the door woke her up. She lazily rose her arm up, and dropped it beside her. Mumbling a few words she turned over only to find a hint of mint lingering in the air that wasn't there before. Her eyes fluttered open before she drew herself back, fast. "Jasper!"
The male chuckled, his blue eyes scanning her face."Rise and shine, you have to talk to Stone." He said as he straightened himself. Mary had to look away before she started to drool because he was shirtless.
"..Stone? Who is-" She came to a realization."Oh, him. Yeah, let me get up and change." She said, leaning up and noticing she wasn't wearing the clothes she had on yesterday. "What the...." As she crawled out of bed, Jasper threw a stack of clothes on a small table by the bed.
"You may want to hurry. He's grown impatient." Jasper said, before he left Mary in the room. Mary took that as a 'don't be slow and get it done,' so she slipped on what was provided for her and exited the room a short time after. Jasper was waiting on the outside for her. "Follow me."
So they walked, no hold on her this time. Jasper was still shirtless so she tried not to focus on his back, looking around instead. She sped up to get next to him before looking forward. A few feet in front of them was a door with a large 'S' on the upper half. Jasper stopped the two, knocked on the door and opened it. On the other side was Stone.
Stone went to speak, but Mary opened her mouth before he did. "I'll do it. As long as I get to prove myself, get paid, and don't die." She said, looking at the man.
Stone looked surprised, but he smiled. "Good choice. Although we make no promises on you living." Mary gulped, but Stone spoke again. "That's entirely up to you. You decide on your life by how much you train. Wright." Jasper grinned at Stone, but didn't speak. "You will be training her. I expect my best agent to do well. You two are dismissed."
Jasper nodded and turned for the door, as did Mary. While they walked, Mary had a question that was on her mind. "So, why do they call you Wright?" She blurted out as she walked next to him. Her eyes scanned the male's upper body. But her attention turned back to him when he spoke.
"It's like a code name. You'll get one, too, don't worry." He let out a chuckle. "Usually they are based off of our names, But some of us have different ones." His gaze turned to Mary, a small smile appearing on his face. "Here, let's go eat before we start this." Jasper said, before they swooped into the cafeteria.
