8: Encapsulating, Mutilated, Our Malice- Part 1

Start from the beginning

"Mm, you got up again." Angelo carefully sits up, Blake holding onto him as she slept quietly.

"We leave in about fifteen minutes, so I guess we could leave now, stop and get something to eat. It takes thirty minutes to get there, so it will probably be around two when we get there." He groans, standing up and holding Blake tightly to his chest.

"I'll wake up Chris and Ricky, sit Blake on the couch and let her sleep, is your stuff in the trailer?" He nods, placing Blake on the couch while rushing out the door to check everything.

"Chris, Ricky, we're leaving in a minute, get up," Josh and Ryan were already sitting in Ryan's truck, waiting on Chris and Ricky. Angelo comes back in, winking at me and picking up Blake. He follows Devin out the door, leaving me with the two bimbos on the floor.

"I'm going to need you to wake up, you f-"

"We're up, Helena, calm yourself." They stand up, grabbing their keys and walking out the door leaving me to follow and close it. I sigh, rushing towards my own car with Angelo in the drivers seat. He smirks, motioning me to get in the backseat with Blake.

"You're cold, I love my daughter, but do I trust you driving my car?" I question, sitting in the backseat and closing the door.

"Well, you trusted me enough on the couch?"

"That sounded so fucking wrong you two." Devin chuckles out, leaning his head back on the seat as Fatal blasts from the radio. (Since the Shitfuck of italics won't work, I have to use bold for lyrics.-Author)

I see your eyes, (so) convincing
I saw everything that night
You were the quiet actress
A flawed masterpiece

"Ooooooo.. it's our song!" Devin bounces in his seat as he stares at us through the rear view mirror.

So cold, our darkest days
Sleepless, our darkest nights
Line after line, but love is... forever

I really never realized how beautiful this song was until now, was it because Angelo was in the car?

A beauty bound in cold silver
Broken bottles and empty lockets
Exhaling bittersweet
Your words were laced in gold
A gilded memoir engraved into my soul

Do you remember
That night you led me astray?
Do you recall, tainting me, with your apathy?

Encapsulating
Mutilated our malice, our intoxicated
Advocating lust for a cause

"Helena? What do you want from Wendy's, Ryan and Josh are going in to get our food." I quickly tell them Blake's and I's order as we wait in the parking lot, listening to the song.

It's raining sulphur tonight
An anti-climatic procession
Yielding an undying, uniformed Prestige

So cold, our darkest days
Sleepless, our darkest nights
Line after line, but love is never

Encapsulating
Mutilated our malice, our intoxicated
Advocating, lust for a cause

You walked away that night
Instilled virtue
A fatal kiss, my muse, there's
Nothing I can do for you

"Here you are my Chef-d'oeuvre." I have no idea what Angelo said, but by the sound of it, he was speaking French. I quickly help Blake eat her food while I attempt to eat mine.

A cordial gaze pierces
Sending chills down the nape of my Porcelain neck
My blood runs cold

Please don't forget me
Long live that sentiment
Please don't forget me
These words are all I have

Encapsulating
Mutilated our malice, our intoxicated
Advocating, lust for a cause

Angelo sharply inhales as he makes eye-contact with me through the rear view mirror, he closes them briefly before returning his eyes back to the road before him.

You just walked away that night
Instilled virtue
A fatal kiss my muse there's
Nothing I can do for you

(I saw your eyes)
Blow the last candle out
Recoil, finish what we started
For you, I'll take this to my grave
Forever

Please forgive me for wondering
If my love ever truly
Engraved in your heart
Like the finest poetry on concrete

"Hmm, we'll arrive in about twenty minutes, any other song requests?"
