A foggy sky, hanging over a world of foggy minds
All searching, unsure of what we want to find
Unable to see it all clearly, but not quite blind
Stumbling through the mist gathering scraps of insight
Clutching onto opinions and morals assuming they're right
Lost with only the illusion of a guiding light
Maybe that illusion will lead us to love
Maybe thats what we need to get ahold of
But most of us are too busy with our foggy minds
Too dizzy from our lungs filled with smoke of some kind
Escaping this foggy world in a deep inhale
Or a sip of fire that blurrs every detail
But even when you soar high
Up into the foggy sky
That matches your foggy mind
The reality remains that you're just delaying the fall
Back to life below where you feel so small
Where all you can do is search for the courage to rip down the walls
And let the sun shine through
