Varian's POV

I comb my hair in front of the mirror and recall my mental lists. Tooth brush? Check. Shower? Check. Gloves? Shoot. I run around my messy room. I should really clean up my room before y/n comes.

I rummage through the pile of clothes in my room and finally saw my gloves. I sigh in relief. I started to clean my room. Wait.. Why would she even go in here? Meh, I'll still clean my room. After an hour, I finally finished cleaning my room! I look proudly at my room. I wish dad could look at me like how I look at my room.. I recall my list again. Tooth brush? Check. Shower? Check. Gloves? Check. Make y/n mine? AHEM on going

I hear a knock on the door. Just on time! I go out my room and I ran towards the front door. The person knocked again and I opened the door

"Hi, Varian!" Y/n said with her beautiful, angelic voice. Well to me it is "Heya, y/n! Come in, come in." I said motioning her to come inside my- more like mine and my dad's- house. Time to work out plan Make-Her-Fall-In-Love-With-Me A.K.A plan get-ready-to-get-rejected or G.R.G.R for short.

"Can I hold your hand?" I said to y/n as I get closer to her. We're currently sitting on the chairs of the dining table. "Excuse me?" She said having a red tint in her cheeks. "It's just for an experiment, I swear!" I said defensively and she looked at me suspiciously

"Ok? That's a pretty dumb experiment but ok" she said "Here let me measure your heart rate while we hold hands" she added as she holds my left hand as I spaced out "whAT NO THAT'S NOT MY ONE, THAT'S GOING CRAZY" I blurted out 'cause I was so nervous. Y/n looked at me with a 'you-fine-bruh face'

"I think you're busy with something else.. I'll come by when you're not" she said standing up from her seat, I'm still holding her hand. "Where are you going? No, I'm not gonna let go. I'm coming with you" I said standing up from my seat so that I could be taller than her MWAHAHAHAHA AHEM, sorry.

"I need to go, Varian." She said glaring a little bit "My hands are cold, will you warm them up for me?" I said with puppy eyes. She gave in "Fine, but take off your gloves!" She said and I started to remove my gloves. I made her sit down again.

"But why are they so rough? Your hand feels like a piece of paper, did you work in a farm?" Y/n said "No offence though!" She added "Your hands are so soft. I must protect them" I said caressing her hand. I might've not made her mine today, but there's still a tomorrow..
