A Prisoner

I am in my prison
Tied and locked up.
Disavowed of right to live,
Defied by the demons.

I am in my prison
Hurt and lonesome.
Stabbed of sharpened knives,
Cursed by the fate.

I am in my prison
Blinded and bleeding.
Begged of freedom and ease,
Loathed by the sun.
I am in my prison.

Ha!

O' self! You know you did it.
You tied yourself with the knots of the past,
Locked yourself up inside the burning tophet.
You hurt those who light your darkness,
Caused your lonesomeness.
You've blinded your eyes with your own hands,
Refused the helping hands of thy people, and bleeded of gushing tears.
