And then he would strangle the controller with the strings he pulled. He had to make sure that man was a reason why his hands were redder.

Mark sipped his coffee.

Just a little more.

He was finding a way out and getting his way in close.

Just a little more, and they would be home free.

In a home comfy for a strong little girl and her foolish older brother.

[Donghyuck POV]

Minhyung put down his papers, sliding them back into their respective folders and putting them away. Afterwards, he slipped off his glasses, putting them away in a case.

Donghyuck looked at the clock.

It was midnight.

He had sat there and did nothing for four hours.

FOUR. HOURS.

Donghyuck almost wanted to let out a whine in unfairness. He was bored to death. Minhyung of course didn't catch on to that at all.

But what the hell?

He's a secretary now. Donghyuck still didn't understand why he was just sitting there doing nothing.

Minhyung stood up.

"Come with me."

Donghyuck couldn't reply, as Minhyung was already walking swiftly down the hall and out of the office.

"I have to deal with this..?" Donghyuck mumbled in annoyance.

He followed the older.

---

"He's a freak."

"Why isn't he in a mental hospital?"

"I heard he's only here for the inheritance money."

"His mother would be so displeased."

"Isn't it strange that he barely talks to anyone? It's like he's always so judgemental of us."

"Stuck-up rich boy."

Donghyuck couldn't believe how many people whispered and gossiped as Minhyung walked by. Threading through cubicles, so many workers said bad things about him.

Donghyuck should've took this as a warning sign.

He should've been all the more suspicious of Minhyung.

But something in his heart clicked, making him immediately defend the other male.

Donghyuck watched closely as he followed Minhyung.

Turning to the right, he ran directly into another employee.

Minhyung blinked, not saying a word as the employee just grinned at the height difference between him and his boss.

"Hey rich boy. Lost your glasses?" The employee brushed himself off and mockingly did it to Minhyung too.

Minhyung didn't do a thing. It was like he was frozen with a blank face.

"Not going to speak are you? What, are you mad? You can't kick me out, remember? My dad invests," the taller employee smiled sarcastically. "Just a reminder, nobody likes you."

Minhyung stared at the other male, as if calculating something.

Donghyuck observed.
Okay, so when he's calculating, his eyes slightly narrow.
