chapter 2

As our Friday concluded, me, Nyla, Maria, and my other 3 friends Madison, Zara, and Kiana decided we were gonna carpool to the football game tonight. We would have invited our other 2 friends, Lili and Kya, but they were cheerleaders so they couldn't attend as normal students.

Before I knew it, it was already 6:30 and sure enough, Kiana pulled up with the girls and we drove to the football game.

"Bitch, stop at McDonalds, I'm hungry." Zara sighed.
"Nah, you're gonna owe me gas money then. They have food at the games fat ass whore." Kiana replied.
"Gas money? Never mind fuck that."

We finally pulled off at George B Marcus Memorial Stadium, our schools football field. Most of us headed right to the bleachers but Madison stopped to flirt with one of the football players.

Most of us were head deep in our convo, screaming half the time because the stadium was so loud. Until Maria whispered in my ear.

"Sis!" She whisper yelled. "Remember that fine ass guy from the park the other day?"

"Yeah?"

"Look 4 spots to your left!"

I looked past Nyla, this guy in my art class and a sophomore, the next face I saw was that guys.

"Oh my god!" I yelled, quickly covering my mouth.

"Right? You think he likes me?"

"I don't know, but I'm hungry, let's go get some popcorn or sum."

We all made our way down the bleachers, bumping and earning some annoyed looks from students being forced to move.

We made our way to the concessions stand about 100 ft away from the seats.

Zara got a Coke, a hotdog, and Sour Patch Kids, Kiana got Skittles, Madison got Chips and a slushee, Maria got nothing, Nyla got a slice of pizza and a water bottle, and now it was my turn to order.

"What would you like?" The cashier asked annoyed.

"Popcorn please and a large F/D."

"$5.20. Cash or card?"

"Cash, here's 20 cents, $1, $2, $3, $4, shit I'm a dollar short."

"Its ok." The same boy hands the cashier a dollar. "Don't worry about it." He then walks away.

Maria pulls me to the side. "Bitch did you see that?"
"My food-"
"Go get your food but oh my god, y'all would actually be kinda cute."
"Shut the f up, he's not even my type, he's kinda goth and creepy."
"You're crazy."

The rest of the night was spent walking around, and then going home to Kianas to spend the night. I didn't see that boy for the rest of the night, but Maria and I came to the conclusion that he was a student at our school, either a junior or senior. He looked at least 17. Not that I cared.
