"Th-They haven't" Dudley said, not sounding convincing.

"You haven't got the guts to take me on without that thing have you?" Dudley asked

"Whereas you need four guys behind you before you beat up a ten-year-old" I said

"You know that boxing title you keep banging about? How old was your opponent? Eight? Nine?" Harry asked

"He was sixteen and twice as big as you two combined and for your information he was knocked out for twenty minutes when I was done with him." Dudley said defensively, "you just wait till tell Dad that you've got that thing out"

"Running to Daddy now are you?" Harry asked, "afraid of nasty Harry's wand?"

"You're not this brave at night are you?" Dudley asked

"This is night Diddykins. That's what we call it when it goes all dark like this" I said

"I mean when you're in bed" Dudley said

"What are we afraid of our pillows?" I asked

"I heard you two last night. Talking in your sleep." Dudley said.

I bit my lip and glanced at Harry. I'd revisited the graveyard last night in dreams. Had he?

Dudley laughed then did a mocking voice "don't kill Cedric! Don't kill Cedric! Who's Cedric? Your boyfriend?"

"You're lying" I growled. Of course he wasn't. How else would he know about Cedric?

"Mum! Help me! He's going to kill me Dad! Boo-hoo!"

"Shut up Dudley I'm warning you!" Harry said

"He killed Cedric! Help me dad! Help me mum! He killed Ced- don't you point that thing at me!"
This time it was me who whipped out my wand. I pointed it into Dudley's neck, not breaking skin of course.

"Don't. EVER talk about Cedric again. You hear me?" I growled

"Point that thing somewhere else!" Dudley whined

"I said, do you hear me?"

"POINT IT SOMEWHERE ELSE!"

"DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME??"

"GET IT AWAY FROM-"

Dudley gave an odd shuddering gasp as though he'd been drenched in icy water

Suddenly the sky turned black, the street lights went out. The air around us became cold and icy.

I furrowed my brows and looked at Harry, moving away from Dudley. Had either of us done magic without meaning to?

Dudley's terrified voice interrupted my thoughts.

"What are you d-doing? St-Stop that!"

"We're not doing anything. Shut up and don't move" Harry said

"I c-cant see! I've gone blind! I-"

"Harry said shut up!"

Suddenly it felt as though all joy had left me. No happiness remained. Harry gasped

"Dementors" he said

"Why would they be here?" I asked.

"I'll tell Dad! I will-"

"Can't you just shut up!" I hissed

I rolled my eyes slightly and looked around. Harry and I held our wands at the ready

I pointed when I saw them. The dark hooded creatures gliding down the street.

Headed right toward us.

I looked at Harry who was looking at Dudley. Dudley wouldn't see the dementors

"Dudley. Run" I said. And Dudley took off running. Toward the dementors

"NO! THE OTHER WAY YOU IMBECILE" I yelled

Dudley screamed as he ran. I rolled my eyes "that idiot is gonna get himself killed" I mumbled

"Yeah probably. We should let it happen" Harry said

"Harry!" I smacked his arm.

"Yeah I know" we ran after Dudley.

Dudley practically ran into one of the dementors.

Then, before our very eyes, the dementor tried to preform it's horrid power.

There was another one coming from the other side of the street.

"Should we..?" Harry asked

"We could get in serious trouble" I said

"But Dudley.." he said

I sighed and nodded. We both took out our wands. Harry pointed at the dementor attacking Dudley, I pointed at the one headed for us.

"Expecto Patronum!" We yelled simultaneously. Our patronuses burst from our wands, headed toward the dementors. Harry's was a stag, mine was a doe.

The dementors fled from our patronuses. Dudley collapsed on the ground.

I sighed and we both put our wands away

"Don't put them away! They might come back!" A voice yelled. We both looked to see Mrs. Figg, our usual babysitter coming toward us.

"Y-You saw the-" I started

"Of course I did! Now c'mon! We need to get him home" she said, pointing at Dudley.

Harry and I nodded and ran to help our cousin.
