Ruby: Huh? - no, I was definitely not making that up. I wouldn't lie about something as cool as my boss fighting a crocodile as a pre-teen.

I actually found out about it in the Larva files, when I broke into the Prism Vault that one time - apparently it's how she got recruited in the first place. There was some kind of training exercise taking place in Australia, and she was camping nearby. She ended up fighting off a croc to save Hitch's life - he was in the program and a bit younger than her - and saved Bradley Baker, also in the program from crashing over a cliff. Spectrum snapped her up pretty much immediately for the training program. And she ended up as the first female Spectrum agent, sorta.
