Never Let Her Go

Happy Birthday Harmony!

Before I could finish the song. I hopped out the shower because I was getting pruny.

I dried myself off and walked into my room to get dressed. The only thing I didn't do was put my shoes on.

I had put my slides on instead. I sat on the bed and read for a while.

~ 3 hours later

I walked out of the room and knocked on the bathroom door.

" I'm taking a shower." someone said.

I walked back to my room, and closed the door. There wasn't anything for me to do.

All I did was sit on the bean bag chair in the corner and read another book.

The door opened scaring me.

" dude you scared the cheese out of me." I said.

Berkley walked in and started laughing hysterically while I'm pouting.

" stop pouting and help me pick an outfit." she said.

I smiled and help her pick out clothes.

I walked to the other closet and soof there looking for something more Berkley style.

Then I saw it.

It was a sleeveless blue shirt, black skinny jeans, and black ankle boots.

" thanks" she said.

I nodded.

I covered my eyes as she was getting dressed. When she was done I uncovered my eyes.

" you look amazing." Berkley said.

" and you look cute." Harmony said.

Berkley and I walked downstairs and saw my uncles and aunt looking at us.

We were holding hands.

" what?" I asked.

" you two are so cute together." Aunt Kami said.

I smiled and looked at Harmony.

" what time is it?" I asked.

" it's quarter to 4" Aunt Kami said.

I ran upstairs and took my slides off. I put on my black ankle boots.

Then I walked downstairs and out the door waiting on people.

" Kami, Berkley your coming with me, Harmony your going with Jole " Uncle Meho said.

" but I wanna go with Berkley. " I whined.

Uncle CeCe pulled me aside.

" sweetie you can just go to me, we have someone I need to pick up, and I want you to see." He said.

I pouted, crossed my arms, and shook my head.

" please." Uncle CeCe pleaded.

I shook my head.

Uncle Meho came over. He lifted me up and put me in the car. He put the child lock on so I couldn't get out.

The rest of them got in their car and Uncle CeCe got in his car.

We were off and went in different directions.

~ 1 hour later ~

Uncle CeCe have been driving for awhile and I was starting to get bored.

I had forgot my phone in the room so I couldn't text or call Berkley. What? call me clingy.

When we stopped it was in front of a house that I didn't recognize.

" wait here." Uncle CeCe said.

I nodded.

I saw him left and walk up to the house. He knocked on the door and a women came.

The women and Uncle CeCe started walking to the car.

It wasn't until there was a knock on the window. I couldn't open the door, I was in the back seat.

Uncle CeCe opened the passenger side, a women got in and then Uncle CeCe got in the driver side.

" you remember me?" The women said.

I shook my head.

" I wanna see Berkley." I whined.

" you'll see her soon." Uncle CeCe commented.

I sat back in the seat snd pouted.

The women and Uncle CeCe just laughed at me. Why is she here? Who is she? I thought.

The drive was an hour and a half long snd I couldn't wait ro see Berkley.

I saw Ella's and I couldn't wait anymore excited for two reasons. I get my favorite meal and I get to see Berkley.

The car finally stopped and he parked the car next to Uncle Meho car.

" BERKLEY." I yelled happily.

I was running out the car to her. I hugged her from behind tightly not wanting to let go.

I held her hand even though I was still hugging her.

" babe you gotta let go." she said.

I shook my head. Berkley looked at the others for help.

" Sierra Leone-Conner." Uncle Meho saip puzzled.

When he said that, I tensed I knew that name it was my mother's name.

" mom?" I said and looked at her.

She nodded and started walking towards me and Berkley like she wanted a hug.

I walked away from her with Berkley hand in hand.

The rest of them walked towards us and got a table just like that.

" my name is Luke, what can I get for you all." He said.

We thought about it for a while

" salmon with rice and cola."

" I would like a burger with fries and a sprite."

" can I get spaghetti and a pepsi."

" steak with string beans and grape soda please."

" may I have a tuna melt with sprite "

" um ... can I have ... lasagna ... and sprite."

After every one ordered we waited for a while. We were chatting and having fun.

The food finally came and I was overjoyed to eat my tuna melt.

" you look so beautiful." I said.

I ignored all the others around me and I was eating my yummy tuna melt and my sprite.

I was the first one done so I was waoting for the others.

~ 15 minutes later ~

They were done. My mom paid the bill and we got into the cars and drobe to my uncle and aunts house.

" can Berkley and I go to the park?" I asked.

Aunt Kami nodded.

Berkley and I walked to the playground part of the park.

I was swinging on the swings, while Berkley was pushing me.

" I love you." Berkley said.

" and I love you" I replied.

Then we stopped swinging and sat by a tree just watching the clouds.
