It was a dark and stormy night in a small town of Russia. Hiding behind a forest, was a massive mansion that could have been mistaken for a castle. Guards were standing outside, guarding the entrance. Despite the weather, they took their jobs in stride. No one dared argue with The Boss, for if they did it lead to death.
Everytime, no excuses.
Anways, on with the story. A young woman, the age of 17 packed her things into a bag. Her long blonde-almost white hair covered her face. But upon further expection, you could her quiet sniffles coming from her. This girl, was no ordinary girl.
She was the 'princess' of the Valieve family. The Valieve family was a famous mob organization. They ruled over that small town of Russia, so it was expected to mistake them as royalty. The Boss took the title very seriously, and everyone referred to he and his family as the "Royal Family". The princess's name was Mariya, in honor of her late grandmother.
The princess hated her name, hated her family and basically hated Russia. It wasn't her dream to be the daughter of a famous mob boss. She wanted to be the  boss. But, her father is very strict with gender roles. Women get treated like dirt while the men have the time of their lives.
Mariya had a younger brother, Viktor. As much as they were close, she couldn't stand that he got the heir to the 'throne'. She wanted that throne as long as she could remember, but Viktor took that away from her. You guys are expecting Mariya to kill her brother, no? Well too bad!
As much as she wanted the throne, she couldn't bring herself to put even a single finger on her little brother.
Mariya wouldn't stand to be treated like garbage anymore, so she came up with a plan. To run away, to run away and never come back. She'd come up with her own organization, a better one. A stronger one. In America, he family told her, you were free.
Mariya was skeptical, but she did her research. Children like her were in high school. She and her brother had always been home schooled, educated by by finest tutors.
"But no more." Mariya whispered, her voice warm and silky with a heavy Russian accent.
Unbeknownst to her father, the princess had hired two guards to look after her while in the United States of Amercia. She was to go there, and be free of this wretched place. It was late at night, so everyone in the mansion(yes even the servants) were fast asleep. Mariya walked with heavy but quiet footsteps down the hallway, stopping only when she got to a certain door. She snuck into the room, where she then placed a gentle kiss on her sleeping brother's forehead.
"Do svidaniya, brat."(good bye, brother) She whispered, tears forming in her eyes.
She quickly stepped out, and walked downstairs where her guards were waiting.
" Kabina zhdet, printsessa. (The cab is waiting, princess)," One of the guard's spoke in a gentle way. "Are you sure this is what you want to do?"
"Da, get me out of this damn place!" Mariya hissed, wrapping her arms around herself.
The guard gave a look of sympathy and wrapped his arm around the princess. He opened the door, and cold air immediately blew in. They walked quickly to the cab, and set off. Mariya gave one last look to the mansion before turning and smirking evilly.
"Farewell, bastards."
