I took it from the paper where it had been since the day you started writing. I hold it in my hands and twitched it a bit. The hidden message was still in there. The way I said I love you, but you never read it. You never responded. I never got an answer, I probably shouldn't have said it.
You wrote everything with that pen. When the ink was empty you would buy a new one, that happend over and over again. You wrote your first and your last words with it. Underneath the pen was an envelope. My name was on it. I opened the envelope, there was a little message.

My phone rang. It was your mom. She said I should come right away.
I rolled the letter into a ring. I ran down the stairs and took my bycicle. I cycled as hard as I could.
I parked my bike, ran on the stairs towards your home for this couple months. I opened the door and saw your mom holding on to your head, one hand was on your heart. There you layed, with all those medical equipment. I saw your heart on the monitor, you breathed on your own. F.I.N.A.L.L.Y.!
You we're still in a coma. But you breathed with out threatment. The next day I woke up and your hand was resting on my head. I slowly lifted my head and I wrapped my fingers in yours. I layed my head on your chest. You woke up and I looked at your face the scars were deep but they were healing. I looked in those bright eyes and they smiled. You layed your other arm around me and you looked at me. I pushed myself up and I took both of your hands. And I took the letter and the ring. I showed you that I found it. You spoke as slowly as you could. I was planning to give...... it to you,........ but uh ..... (you coughed, catched your breath) that truck didn't want me to, I guess...
Well I said. While I put the ring on my finger. I'd say yes to everything on that list, except for 1 thing. I stopped and I looked at you. "What is it... pumpkin?" I laughed while I said. I can't say yes to being a boyfriend. Thats when you smiled at me. But, I said. I can say yes to being your girlfriend and I would at a thing to that list, I saw a smile, a tear and the most happiest face in the world.
Thats when we said it on the same time. Yes to being fiances.
