JIMIN'S POV

After Ayla left, Jin hyung entered my room, clearly concerned. He urged me to talk to him, and I couldn't hide the truth from him. I confessed that the pain from my past relationship was still haunting me, and I believed I still had feelings for my ex-girlfriend. Jin hyung listened attentively and pointed out that deep down, I was likely trying to find something to help me move on, especially since I seemed to be developing feelings for someone else.

He encouraged me to discover what that missing piece was, as it was crucial for me to heal and find happiness again. Though I didn't fully understand what he meant, I promised to try my best.As Jin hyung left, Ayla returned with food in hand, scolding me for not eating properly. Her caring gestures and bossy yet adorable attitude reminded me of my mom, and I couldn't help but tease her about it. She looked flustered and stormed off, claiming she had homework to do even though it was vacation time.

In reality, she had been staying with us at the dorm while her parents were away. Namjoon hyung was protective of her, and I appreciated having her around. However, I was surprised to realize that she was the one who made me laugh in this difficult time.As I watched her leave, I couldn't help but think, "Ayla, you don't have homework. It's your vacation!" I chuckled to myself. She had a unique way of bringing light into my life, and I couldn't deny the warmth her presence brought me.Little did I know that Ayla's caring nature and the connection we were forming might be the key to healing my wounded heart and finding happiness once again.

THE NEXT DAY...I was drinking water when I heard footsteps behind me. "Jinnie, where are you? What's for breakfast?" A small, cute voice said. "Good morning, Princess. We have pancakes, just as you asked yesterday, so I made them for you," Jin hyung replied. I turned around to see Ayla standing there with a wide smile on her face. "Morning, handsome oppa," she greeted. I joined in with a greeting, "Morning."Ayla playfully complained about Jin hyung having a nickname, but not her. So, she called me "Chim," and I couldn't help but chuckle. I walked up to her, pinching her cheeks gently. "Aww, that hurts!" she whined cutely."I'm thinking of going out later, want to..." I started to say, about to ask her out, but Taehyung interrupted and pulled me to the living room. To my surprise, my ex was standing there. "Jimin?" she began, "What are you doing here?" I asked coldly. Then she hugged me, catching me off guard. Ayla walked in and looked surprised."No, you're not interrupting," I said to Ayla, pushing my ex away slightly. She seemed apologetic and said she was asked by Jin oppa to buy something at the grocery store. Ayla hesitated, but before she could say anything, I insisted, "No, I'll go with you." I walked over to her and gently took her wrist, feeling a strange mix of emotions after hearing her suggest going with Jungkook instead. I didn't want to miss the opportunity to spend time with her.
