I wake up in the middle of the night caused by the nurse coming into my room give me some medicine. I took this as my chance. "Ma'am?" She looks at me and hums. "May I get a piece of paper?" I ask, being as polite as I can. She nods. "Of course, I'll be right back!"She says sweetly coming back 2 minutes later. I thank her and start to write.
Dear notebook, or diary, whatever you wanna be called, 9/13/18
today I met a boy with the brightest smile. Even though he's a bully, I know he'll keep me sane. His name is Colby brock. He calls everyone darling, but he calls me sweetheart.
I smile and stare at my writing. I fold it and set it on the side table. I yawn and fall asleep to the peaceful noise of Colbys snores.
