poetry is another language spoken amongst the broken,
and those who are in love in such a way it consumes them.
it is the feeling you get when you realize you lost someone,
that aching feeling in your chest as you try to not explode.
it's looking into the eyes of someone you love,
and counting each little speck in their eyes.
it's staying in your room until 3 am sobbing,
the ink smeared from your tears.
it's spilling your heart,
creating new perspective.
poetry is more than a form of literature.
