Tick... it stopped ticking for a reason.
"Another one died in a heart attack again" I said looking at the corpse lying in the street, I noticed that the watch of the owner isn't working. For the past crimes the watches of the victims were all the same brand. It was Laeko Time was some unusual brand. I surf the net and search for the shop, One shop appeared in an alley near the park.
I rode a car there and the shop was there looking like it's new but the article I've read was it was since 18th century.
I went inside the shop and there was a guy in the table next door having tea.
"The shop is having a break, please come back after 15 minutes" his voice was so deep and so husky and I nod and head to the car and waited for 15 minutes.
I went inside the shop again and the guy was in the cashier spot wiping a tea cup.
"Welcome to Laeko Time, How can I help you My lady?" It feels like I'm in the 18th Century.
"I'm here to ask about this watch" I said showing him the watch.and he take a look at it.
"Mathew Cheery, a customised watch. Year 1995 model last until this year 2016" he said looking at the watch I gave him.
"How did you know?" I ask him
"It's what the watch says" He said giving me the watch.
"What?" I said then he looked at me.
"Oh! you're probably wondering where I got it, it's in the clock hands, The small one has the owner's name and the longer one has it's year and how long it will last" he said showing me.
"Do you wish to have one?" He asked and I look at him.
"How much will it cost?" I asked
"It depends to the years will it last" he said and I nod.
"I think I'll have a 3 year watch, Can the number have some small white gold?" I asked then he nod.
"That would be 300 dollars" he said and I grab my wallet and give him 300 dollars.
"My lady, please have a seat first for the watch will be done in a few minutes and please give me your name" he said giving me a piece of paper and a pen, I wrote my name in it.
I sat and he give me a tea and he went to his workplace while I'm enjoying the tea, it is a sweet scented and the taste was extraordinary.
After a while he finished the watch and it was looking great, it was looking like me and I don't know why it feels so me. I wear it and he smiled at me.
"Thanks for purchasing in Laeko Time" he said and I head time the door and as I grab the knob.
"I think I'll be seeing you again, Ms. Ziara Rein" he said and I went outside the shop.
