"Before you go," Hoseok said, "There's a Halloween party next week and I was wondering if you wanted to go."

I thought for a bit. It would be my first party I had ever gone to. Honestly, that wasn't the type of person I was, but it was Hoseok. It wouldn't be that bad, would it?

"Sure," I slightly smiled.

"What's your number?" Hoseok asked.

-

I walked up to my siblings like nothing had happened. They were checking out a banner for a Halloween party. The same exact one Hoseok asked me to go to. Maybe they wanted to go, too. Or perhaps not? I didn't really know.

Dojoon seemed to be skimming rather slowly. Chaya was looking at some guy as always. I felt somewhat stiff as I came up to both of them. The vibes that I felt were strange. As if something or someone was watching me like a hawk. Obviously there wasn't, right?

"Aish," Dojoon mumbled, "So many people are going."

"Can I go?" Chaya asked.

Dojoon thought for a moment, "You can if you take Jeong."

I looked up at them from the floor. Chaya stared in disgust. She definitely didn't wanna show up with me and I didn't wanna go with her. Hoseok asked me to go with him anyway. Dojoon sighed at Chaya's reaction as if it were new to him.

"Actually," I spoke up, "Hoseok asked me to go with him.

"You guys are going on a date?" Chaya looked even more disgusted.

"It's not a date," I frowned harder.

"It's obviously just friends," Dojoon rolled his eyes, "Since she's going with him, I guess you can go."

"It's not fair that I will have to walk," she growled.

"I can ask Hoseok if you can ride with us or something'" I shrugged.

"This is why I love you," she smiled.

"Right," I rolled my eyes.

-

We had walked around for quite some time now. I'm sure all of us were bored by now. Passing so many games and never playing them. There was no reason for us to be here.

Chaya's friend had came and swept her away. She left me alone with Dojoon. I wasn't mad nor happy that she left, but I felt intimidated. Dojoon could be a scary person at times. Especially when he was mad.

Dojoon's friends had come over to him. He didn't even care to leave me alone. It didn't bother me, but I felt hurt because he didn't say when we were leaving nor where to meet.

If i go home now, would they be mad?

-

So I started walking out in the misty rain. A hoodie would have been a smarter idea. Unfortunately I hadn't even though of checking the weather. Even so, I never really did. I put a mental note to myself to check the weather every morning. No matter how much I would dread it.
