34: Mental breakdown

"Haemi baby?" He sat down and jumped off the bed then immediately walk to her room to check if she was there. His eyes went wide when the room was clean. Too clean that he couldn't help but to feel that it was empty

He ran to her closet and panicked when he saw it was empty as soon as he opens it.

"Haemi?!"

He then ran downstairs to the kitchen. Still. No sight of his wife. He starts dialling her number while walking to the living room.

"Baby please pick up" He chanted and grabbed his hair in frustration when she didnt pick it up. He dialled again for the nth time and froze when something caught his attention

The number you have dial-

He dropped his hand when he saw two papers with a shiny object on top of the table in the middle of the living room. He breathed out a shaky breath before walking to the paper and there he felt like his whole body is turned off. It was like his body suddenly shuts down and his heart stopped functioning the moment he saw what was on the table

Divorce letter

He sat down on the sofa with tears streamed down his face and grabbed his wife's wedding ring shakily

"I-its a dream right? I-its just a nightmare right?" He chuckled in disbelief before grabbing another paper under the divorce letter

Dear Jimin,

He wiped his tears before taking a deep breath and reads the letter

By the time you are reading this letter, Maybe I am not in Korea anymore. My flight is on 930 am and I purposely bought a medicine that will make you sleep for a long time, Im sorry. I'm truly sorry. I'm sorry for not fulfilling your wish. The one you said you wanted to be with me forever. I'm sorry for breaking your promise. When I said I wont leave you but I did. You must hate me for not returning your love when you gave everything to me. I must admit, I fell for you. I dont know since when, but you made me feel things I have never feel before. I purposely dont show it, because I know things will get harder for both of us. But do know you succeeded on your mission: making me fall in love with you. Please, I gave you the permission to hate me. It was my fault to make such promises with my mom. She doesn't want me to be a burden. She suffered for a long time, and I dont want to make her harder. Two promises that I made with my late dad before he passed away. First- never break my promises. Second- Try to lift off my mom's worries. My life is full of promises that I should keep and I failed to keep yours. Im sorry. Sign the divorce paper and you'll be free. Live a new life without me. "NO!" He cried and gripped on his hair harshly

"Hyung!" Jungkook opened the door and ran towards the older boy when he suddenly heard the crashing sound

"Jimin ah" His other hyungs came towards him panicky. The mentioned boy was trembling in fear.

"You guys knew about this! You guys knew about this right?!" He shouted and they gathered him into a warm hug

"Why didnt you guys stop her?! Why did you let her leave?! You guys knew she will leave me! You guys freaking knew about all of these yet why did you let her go?! WHY JUST WHY?!" The boy struggled to free himself but they just continued to hug him
