Courtney's POV.

"You'll be better off here." My Dad said to me as I got ready for my first day of high school in Sydney. I was originally from Adelaide, but my Dad and I moved for certain reasons.

I laced up my black converse and headed out the door, as I walked towards the bus stop I clenched my backpack tightly as I soon arrived.

The cold breeze hit my legs, the air went though the rips in my black skinnies as I tugged the sleeves of my flannel and waited.

The bus soon pulled up as I boarded on, I could feel some eyes on me as I walked towards an empty seat. I quickly shoved my earphones in and hit shuffle on my phone. I felt a light tap on my back, so I whip my head around to see who was interrupting Green Day.

I turn around to see a Pink and or Purple haired lad sitting behind me, he pulled out one of my earbuds and gave a grin.

"I'm Michael, are you the chick that just moved here?" He question with one eyebrow raised, I quickly noticed that one of his brows were pierced.

"Uh, yeah. I'm new to Sydney, my names Courtney." I say with a small smile, thinking that it's great that someone bothered to say Hi.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Courtney. Would you mind if I showed you around the school, you could probably hang out with my friends and I?" He asked kindly.

"That would be awesome!" I say as the bus comes to a halt, and pulls into the school yard. "Alright, I'll see you later."

Michael waved as he ran off towards some people.

I tugged at the sleeves of my flannel still walking, with my black and yellow Nirvana shirt looking alright with the black beanie I picked out the wardrobe my Dad somehow bought for me.

I collected the schedule for my classes and walked towards my first class, Mathematics, great. I was never really good at math, I don't think the ADD helps with it anyways.

Michael's POV

Courtney seemed pretty cool, she looked like she belonged in our group. I caught a glance at her phone to see what song she was listening to, it was Green Day. I'm glad it wasn't some stupid cheesy pop song, Jesus Of Suburbia is a great smasher.

"Mr. Clifford are you paying attention?"

Before I knew it I was snapped out of my thoughts by this bitch of a teacher.

"Uh, yeah Mrs. Richards" I quickly responded as she gave me a stern look, ugh it's not my fault Science is boring as fuck.

Before I knew it was time to go on break.
