Today was first day of rehearsals and I was so happy to be going back out on the road. I loved touring but I missed my boys. I haven't had the opportunity to go see Harper yet but I have called her a few times when I have had the chance. Caroline has been acting weird I think she knows something but she hasn't said.
I was sitting on the edge of a speaker looking through my phone.
"Penny for your thoughts" Kerrie said sitting down next to me
"Oh hey, I'm ok just thinking is all" I said
"Luke how long have I known you I know when something is bothering you" she said nudging me
"I just don't know what to do, you know I know what I want but I don't want to hurt anyone in the process" I said
"Let me guess Harper" she said smiling
"Yeah I can't stop thinking about her. I think Caroline senses something because I haven't slept with her since Mexico" I said
"Luke this thing with Harper is it worth losing your wife over it" she asked
"Kerrie she is amazing we just click the way I feel with her is nothing like how I have ever felt with Carol. If it wasn't for the boys I would have left but....god I don't want them to hate me" I said
"Luke those boys love the bones of you. If you aren't happy in your marriage then you need to do something about it. But think about it is Harper Lust or Love?" She asked
"Honestly I think it's love. She is the last thing I think about at night and the first thing I think about in the morning" I said
"Well that's your answer, you need to sort out your life. Tell Caroline how you feel. Yeah she will probably go bat shit crazy but you two ain't been the same since she cheated" she said
"I know. She did it again in Mexico, with Nilla" I said looking down
"WHAT!!!"
"Yeah I saw them making out"
"So that explains why he ain't here"
"I sacked him. I know I'm a hypocrite or doing that especially with the way I acted down there but he should have fucking known better" I said
"Jesus well I suppose we need to recruit. Your always full of surprises Luke. But you could have gave me a heads up" she said
"Sorry..."
my phone rang and a picture of me and Harper popped up
"I'll let you get that, and just for the record y'all look so cute together" she said hugging me and leaving
I answered
"Hey baby, I need to talk to you face to face"
"That don't sound good are you breaking up with me" she said saddened
"No no no baby far from it. Can I come see you tonight" I asked
"Yeah I finish work at 6. I will text you my address. Do you want dinner" she said
"I will bring takeout. See you later oh and Harper I love you" I said said and she giggled
"You too" she said hanging up.
As I hung up I heard someone behind me
"Who the fuck was that" they yelled
