A hospital, or Psych ward. There are many beds with people laying on them, but hardly any display life signs. There is a buzzing in the room, the sound of people flatlining. The camera turns to an open door that says 'Long-Term patients' Nurses and Doctors are rushing into it. Inside the room, a man is getting up.

Man: The... hell?

The man was lying on the bed, and he's connected to numerous cords, an IV drip for food and water among them. He's been here for a while, and his cabinet is all dusty. The Nurses and Doctors rush over to him, but keep their distances, checking his monitors and life signs.

The man pulls off a mask he was breathing out of. The people gasp slightly but try not to say too much.

Man: What's this for?

A man comes forward, nervously. He's poked in the back slightly by a colleague. He's worried, they're all worried about what this man could do.

Doctor: John Doe, I am... required to tell you that you have woken up after being in a three-year coma.

The doctor looks back at his colleagues, looking for support. He gets none.

Man: John... John Doe. I don't like that name. John. It doesn't sound... me? Me? Who am I?

The man trails off, confused by his own musings.

Man: Who am I...

The Doctor clears his throat again. He's scared by the prospect of this man remembering himself.

Doctor: It's just the name we give... unknown people, Mr. Doe.

Doe: Doe. I can do Doe. John, not so much. Wait. You don't know who I am? I don't know who I am? Who knows who I am? Does anyone?

Doctor: The point is, Joh- Mr. Doe, you've been in a three-year coma. However you seem fine now, so you can go.

The Doctor looks at the others nervously.

Doctor: Right away.

Doe: W-well... ok... That doesn't seem very safe? I-I I'm not sure but I don't think that's how it's done...

Doctor: We assure you, Mr. Doe, that you can leave... right now.

Doe walks out of the hospital/Psych ward, looking confused. He takes a look around at the broken, grey, city. The camera focuses on a dirty, dusty and broken sign that says, 'New Seattle – the city of protection, cleanliness and absolutely no UHumans!' The sign features a special operative-looking man with his mask off, smiling to the camera, giving a thumb up, while the other hand carries a gun. It's a cartoon drawing but sends a very clear message. Doe walks aimlessly, taking in the ruined city. Doe is inspecting a particular building when suddenly, the top of it explodes in purple energy. Out of the rubble explodes a woman in a tattered jacket and large boots, and a man dressed in black, just like the cartoon on the sign – except this man is very real, and very gritty, his weapon evil and his black terrifying. The two tussle for a few seconds. Doe visibly tries to ignore it, but something inside him doesn't let him. Doe starts walking over there, then he starts running as fast as he can. When he gets over there, the man punches her in the face, and she goes down. However, his gun is broken.

Special Operative: I got you, you dirty UHuman... Get ready to die.

The Special Operative flicks out a blade from his wrist. From behind him, Doe picks up his gun, broken, and bashes it across the Special Operative's head. The Operative slumps to the ground.
