I was doing my home work when I heard the frond door cracking, which means that my parents came. I started to panic a little but I thought that nothing and no one will save me, do I put aside my Geography's book and head downstairs.

"Hello, now go yo the kitchen and prepare our lunch."

My mum ordered with out even look at me.

I remember the first and the last time I told her to do it on her own. She got pretty pissed and not only I had to cook but she locked me in my bedroom with out feeding me for two days. While I was thinking these things I had already prepared the lunch.

"Mum, dad the lunch is ready."

I said loud enough for them to hear me.

We started to eat and as usual my parents were talking leaving me eating alone. They finished and went to the living room to relax. I stood up and started to put the dishes away, then I washed them and by the time everything was okay I left the kitchen, turning off the lights.

                              ••••••••••

I returned from a long day of school and entered my house leaving the door to slam by itself making a dig noise. Usually my parents aren't at home but this time my mum was sleeping on the coach and the loud noise wake her. She started to yell at me for how stupid I can get sometimes and that she wishes I could disappear one day. Although, I heard that plenty of times I still feel awful and extremely use less. It was like a squeeze in my heart, immediately, I felt tears forming in my eyes but I refused to let them go away. My dad came downstairs and asked my mum what happened. I let my head drop and stared at the ground.

"Look at me."

My dad ordered.

I, slowly, lifted my head and face my dad who was pissed too. I knew what he will do and I was right. He slapped my left cheek, causing my head to turn to my right, violently. I could feel my cheek burning. That's it I left my tears to run down my cheeks.

With out asking permission, I ran upstairs to my bedroom. Bit that was a stupid decision since I was pulled back by my father. That's not a good sign.

"Did I yell you to leave, I'm not finished yet."

I stepped back, in order to face him again. I stood there quietly waiting for my dad's reaction. Which, unfortunately, was a punch. He punched me right at my left rib. I winced in pain, I laid on my knees holding my rib. The pain was to strong to deal with it, I barely could move and I was  taking quick, sharp breaths. All I was able to think was: painkillers.

I slowly forced myself to get up. Every single thing was a blur due to my tears. I watched my dad as he motioned me to ho my bedroom, so I did.

I put my bag aside and started to take deep breaths in order to calm me down. Later, that I will go to the kitchen, I will take few painkillers with me. Although, I know that I'm only sixteen and using this almond of painkillers will only cause another harm to my organism.

                             ••••••••••

I had to do the lunch but I couldn't afford the pain.

"Mum, please I can't."

I begged her, only hoping.

"You better don't lie and tell me you're bored."

My mum said angrily.

"I can't I told you."

I said a little loud, that pissed mum.

She grabbed the kitchen knife and point it towards my direction. I, immediately, ran out of the kitchen panicked and mostly afraid for life. Everything happened so fast that I didn't realised how I end up hugging my knees, sitting on the floor and my mum I'm friend of me holding the knife, dangerously, close to me. I was in such a shock that I don't remember nothing more that a moment.

"-dare to say it again, idiotic girl."

Silent. Sobs. Breaths. Silent.

" I'm not lying. You hav-"

"Fuck off, I'm your mother."

Silent. The knife is getting closer to my throat. Even more shock.

"So I wasn't a good girl, right?"

My lips moved but I didn't knew I would say that, even my voice was soften like a baby's. It was like I didn't talk. But I knew it was me.

"Or... You don't want me to be your daughter any more."

I broke down, crying.

My mum's face became confused and puzzled. She let out a breath and screamed to me to go to my room. It took me few minutes to come back to earth and realise what she ordered.
