Chapter Two: Under the Stars

"Ah, Hyunjin-ah!!".

I sit up from shock and look down with him with complete confusion. Why the fuck is he here? He puts his hands behind his head and It's not that I don't like Hyunjin, were the same age and he's really nice guy but I don't think I never really got to know him.

"Are you going to keep staring?" He asks me as he closes his eyes

I stare at his face and i never really noticed how nice his skin was or how he kind of glowed. Maybe he had good make up today? Or he sweat glitter? ....

What if he's a vampire?

"Did you really just ask if I was a vampire?" He looks up at me laughing I squint my eyes looking at him suspiciously

"You must be a vampire...You just read my mind" I said to him

He sits up and looks at me with a serious expression and moves his face close to mine.

"If I tell you, I'll have to suck your blood dry" He whispered

Damn, he looked as he said it. I wish I took the time to appreciate Hyunjin's face more but me being me.... I was being me..

"WELL TOO BAD I ATE A PASTA WITH GARLIC TODAY!! SO U CANT GO NEAR ME" I shout as I stand up to show him my air bending moves because I'm ready to fight

He grabs his stomach as he laughs loudly. As soon as he finishes laughing, he stands up and gets into a fighting stance.

"I WILL HAVE BLOOOD!!!" He screams and we engage in epic battle.

Punches were thrown as we hear our spartan allies rage with cheer, I smell the stench of the arena, victory. Blood splatter everywhere and bruises forming. No mercy in both our death ridden eyes and as I take a step back I lung my...okay fine, we looked like two fighting chickens BUT!!! it felt like an epic battle.

I loose breathe from laughing to hard that I just drop to the ground and lie down. Hyunjin is still laughing but I'm completely out of air. As soon as his laugh dies down he lies down on the ground beside me and were both under comfortable silence watching the stars.

"I'm so tired, I feel like my lungs deflated" I told him, still looking up

"You're just weak" He says and I hit him playfully on the chest and he chuckles at my action

"So why are you up here? Everyone else is sleeping in the dorms" Hyunjin says to me and I keep quiet for a few moments before I respond.

"I don't know, I felt like I need time to think. I've been feeling weird and I don't understand why" I tell him easily

"Then why the roof? Why not in your room? or maybe a coffee shop?" He asks with genuine curiosity.

"Because when I see the stars they remind me that they're the same ones from home and I feel more relaxed or at least relaxed enough to clear my head" I tell him.

"Why do you need to clear your head?"

"So that I have space to understand why I feel so lost" I tell him.

My heart feels so light when I know it should be heavy with happiness. That's why I felt like clearing my head would make me understand why my heart is going through a rut. I always thought Hyunjin and I were never really that close because it was always Hyunjin and Changbin, Changbin and I but never Hyunjin and I. But having him here with me know makes me appreciate him more as a friend, I never knew he was so easy to talk to and I hope our friendship just grows from here.

My eyes are locked on the sky when Hyunjin cuts my thoughts of appreciation from me as he clears his throat as he's about to say something.

"Well, finding your feelings won't be easy that's for sure" He says and a have a small laugh at that.
