"we'll be together for a long time. come what may, blackpink is always the very best with four members." lisa assured her, earning a chuckle from jennie. "that was too cheesy but i do agree."

"why don't you call me lili anymore?" lisa asked out of the blue.

jennie was taken aback at the question. she used to call her 'lili' even before they debuted, and the younger girl called her 'nini'. "i really don't know, i guess i just stopped subconsciously. why, do you miss it?"

"i'd be lying if i say i didn't. i liked that you called me 'lili', you were the only one in my life who called me that."

"i'll start calling you that again on one condition..."

"what is it?" lisa asked eagerly.

"you have to stop mentioning me every time during your interviews." jennie jokingly said.

lisa burst into laughter and jennie quickly brought her hand to lisa's mouth to quiet her. "shush!" she hissed.

"sorry, sorry." the blonde silently giggled. "it's kind of hard not to. it's your fault, you never leave my mind."

jennie was damn sure she felt herself blush. thank god the lights were off and it was dark. lisa would have teased her if she's seen her looking this flushed. no, there isn't anything going on between them. they're plain best friends, just best friends.

"whatever rocks your boat, lili."

lisa fell silent, a smile creeping upon her face. "you called me 'lili'"

"you asked me, idiot." jennie chuckled. "anyway, have you seen those people taking pictures of the both of us when we got out of the van holding hands earlier?"

"they're probably going to post those pictures of us with the caption 'jenlisa is real', want to bet?"

lisa laughed, "jen, i'm not going to bet against that. we all know it's going to happen."

jennie hummed in response. "you know we can always mess with them." she suggestively said, pulling away from the embrace and moving to her side of the bed, looking at the ceiling.

"let's start some rumors."

lisa could've sworn she nearly choked on her own saliva. jennie wants to start some rumors? jennie as in jennie kim who gets super annoyed when fans start talking about 'jenlisa'? the girl who practically hates rumors since she had been dealing with them since predebut, especially if they had something to do with her or 'jenlisa' in general? what's happening?

"what?" lisa choked out, clearly confused.

"i don't know, it'll be fun." jennie shrugged as if it's the most normal thing in the world.

the younger girl scoffed. "don't play with other people's feelings, jennie. that's not so nice."

"hey," jennie quickly interjected. "you know how much crazy messages and comments i get on social media because of this 'jenlisa' shit?"

"of course i do, i'm half of 'jenlisa'. i receive just as much as you do, if not more."

"exactly," the cat-eyed girl smirked. "think of this as a payback to them."

it's been a week since their 'plan', and man did it do something. the plan was, for fans to think that something was going on between them. so when they were inside the van and fans were snapping pictures of them, they positioned themselves as if they were kissing. it would take a difficult angle to notice that they aren't, but since fans are thirsty about them, they wouldn't put any effort to get that angle.
