i walk into the lab, sitting in my assigned seat, next to peter parker

when i sit down, i notice that he's wearing glasses

i smile widely, looking at him "did you get glasses?"

"oh-um-no i-i've had these for a while. i just- i just usually wear contacts" he says, nervously

i don't know why, but he's always nervous around me

i nod, smiling "well your glasses look cute"

my smile widens as i see his cheeks flush

"you should wear them more"

his cheeks grow darker, making me giggle

the teacher starts explaining what to do for our lab

i try to pay attention, i really do, but i can't help but sneak glances of peter in his glasses

he just looks- adorable

the next day, peter walks in after me and takes his seat

i smile widely as i see that he's wearing his glasses

"lookin cute, peter" i whisper as the teacher starts talking

peter blushes wildly as he looks flustered "t-thanks"

i smile "your welcome"

i go to lunch, a few periods later, sitting at my normal seat with a few of my friends

they talk and gossip about random things that always seem to bore me

my eyes wander around the cafeteria, landing on peter and his friend

i pick up my tray, dumping it before heading over to them

ignoring the fact that my so called friends are too engrossed in their drama and gossip to even realize that i left

neither boys look at me or notice that i'm there

"hi peter" i say, softly

his head shoots up and his eyes widen when he sees me

"y/n, what are-what are you doing here?" he asks

i smile "i was wondering if i could hang out with you guys"

"oh-um- yeah, sure. i mean- if you- if you really want to" he rambles on

i giggle, sitting down next to him, looking over at the boy across from me

"hi, i'm y/n" i introduce

the guy's eyes widen "i know. you're so cool"

i blush "um- thank you? i didn't know i was considered cool"
