As Rebekah had stormed away, Elijah had peered over the grimoire to look at the blood that dripped from the girl's neck and begun to stain the carpet beneath the coffee table she had been thrown carelessly on. "Oh, yes." Elijah realised.

Esme heard approaching footsteps with the use of her vamp hearing before knowing that one person within the house was being waited for her wake. Hayley had strolled into the living room hoping to tend to some food in the kitchen as her hand caressed her bump that was more on show than when Esme arrived in New Orleans. "Morning." Esme greeted with a greeting smile.

Hayley returned the smile. "Morning."

Elijah had watched as Hayley turned into the kitchen, he couldn't help but follow after the werewolf in hope of talking to her, bonding. Esme blew into her lips as her interest fell on the grimoire that Elijah had placed on the table behind the couch and which had caused her brows to furrow in confusion. With Elijah's follow after Hayley, Esme begun her approach towards the couch that Klaus sat on as the black shirt dress she wore bounced against her though before she threw herself beside the hybrid.

Esme's finger pointed directly towards the dead body. "Couldn't you have at least disposed of her?" She questioned as brow raised. "This carpet is pretty decent and now blood had ruined it."

Klaus' head shook in decline of his suggested as Esme's eyes rolled in reply just as Rebekah had marched her way back in whilst throwing a pair of yellow gloves into the Browne's laps. Esme couldn't help but furrow her brows at the blonde whom she looked up to. "Help clean that, would you?" Rebekah ordered.

Esme couldn't help but scoff as Rebekah had picked the girl off of the coffee table to drag her to her disposal. "Do I look like a cleaning lady, Rebekah?" She questioned but the blonde stormed off whilst dragging the girl out of the living room. "Great." Esme grumbled.

Esme had a bucket beside her and a scrub to itch away the blood on the carpet knowing it'd look better without the stain on it. As much as her interest was in cleaning up after Elijah and Niklaus' breakfast, she had found something else more fascinating and which was in hold of Klaus' hands. The family poetry book he was reading caused her brows to raise, it had been a while since she had seen Klaus read and she knew what the poetry book was all about and what could've been the reason of interest.

The Browne clicked her tongue as she raised a brow. "Poetry about poisoned apples from dead trees. I sense worry about impending daddy hood." She broke the silence between herself and Klaus.

The hybrid look up at the vampire sitting on the floor with a shake of his head. "Nonsense. Elijah is back. In his presences, all problems turn to pixie dust and float away." He quipped whilst Esme had begun to aggressively scrub into the carpet after dampening the brush more.

"Strange," Elijah had walked back into the living room able to hear the words of what his brother had. "I don't recall any pixie dust from the darkness of the coffin I recently forced to endure." He retorted whilst Rebekah had followed behind him.

Elijah's interested returned back into the grimoire he held in his possession and what had caused the blonde's brows to furrow. "What are you doing with mother's spell book?" Rebekah questioned.

"Well, in exchange for my freedom, I promised the witch Davina that I would share a few pages from mother's grimoire." Elijah explained and which had caused Esme to raise a brow with interest on the bargain as the suited original tore a page out of Esther's grimoire. "It'll help her learn to control her magic." He added before folding the page into the inner pocket of his blazer. "Thought we'd begin with a little unlinking spell."
