Mark woke up first, lightly shaking Jackson awake.

"Hey, wake up sleepy head." The older brushed through Jackson's bed head. Luckily Mark didn't have to deal with a sleepy boyfriend who was all cranky from being woken up.

"Good morning." Jackson said in a sleepy raspy voice.

"Come on, let's get ready for breakfast." Mark got up and left for the bathroom.

While he was brushing his teeth the younger wrapped his arms around Mark. "I'm still tired, so let me rest a while longer." Jackson's voice was muffled since his face was nuzzling into the body in front of him.

"Remember what my mom had said last night?" Mark started.

"No."

"That's right, you were too busy being terrified of some thunder." The older chuckled.

"Don't tease me!" Jackson grumbled grabbing his tooth brush.

It was still raining outside and the weather decided to keep up all the loud booms and flashy lights.

"There you are Mark! Oh, Jackson! Good, it's better that you're both here." Mark's mom smiled and motioned for them to sit down on the couch.

"So... what did you need to ask last night?" Mark asked. He was sitting dangerously close to Jackson, to the point where he could just scoot over a bit to the right to sit on the younger's lap.

"You two seem closer since the last time we've seen you." Mark's dad sat down beside his wife. "Meaning in both ways. You used to sit at least a couple of centimeters away from each other and now you look more comfortable than ever."

"Honey, what's that on your ring finger?" His mom smiled while looking down at the silver ring on her son's hand.

"Just a ring." He shrugged. Jackson quickly tried hiding the matching ring on his finger by balling his left fist up and putting his right hand over it, resting his chin on top.

"You seem a bit jumpy, something wrong Jackson?" Mark's dad made a troubled look.

"I- I'm just afraid of thunder... That's all." He blurted out, blushing right after.

The rain was beating down harder on the windows than yesterday. A bolt of lightning cut the power of the house making everything dark, followed by a boom causing Jackson to yelp. Mark couldn't help but at least put his hand on the younger's back to soothe him.

Of course nature was being cruel, thunder occurred every five seconds or so, Jackson thought. It was more like every thirty seconds, big deal. The younger couldn't help but be terrified in this storm. Mark had pulled him onto his lap, cradling him like a baby whispering things that would make the latter relax.

"Mom, dad, I'm taking Jackson back to my room, is that alright?" Mark asked. His parents just nodded with blank expressions. It was either because of the way their son was holding Jackson or they were just plain terrified by the silly storm. His dad shook his head snapping out of his trance calling back to his son. "When it's over come back so we can talk again." Mark just nodded and continued to carry Jackson back to his room.

When they arrived at the top of the stairs Jackson looked at the older with puppy eyes. Mark continued to walk towards his room still mumbling soothing words to his boyfriend. He put the latter down on the bed and made sure to shut and lock his door before snuggling beside him.

Mark called the others at the hotel to see how they were doing. Bam Bam and Yugyeom were talking about some zombie crap, about how everyone in this hotel will kill each other to survive. All of these excessive video games late at night probably corrupted their minds. "Either kill or be killed." The two would say while playing to make the others flee to the safety of their rooms. Youngjae and Jinyoung were cuddling to their beloved leader hyung. Those three had a weird love triangle... At least he didn't have to worry about his band mates at all.
