hoseok woke up to sun shining in his eyes. he sat up, and sighed as he looked at the black and white world around him. hoseok was twenty-one now, and he still hasn't found his soulmate, which brings him down quite a lot. hoseok stood up, petting his cat. she purred as hoseok's hands scratched the area behind he ears. hosoek smiled at his cat, and walked out of his room. hoseok checked his phone that was sitting on the counter. a few youtube notifications, and a few twitter notifications. nothing really important. hoseok sat his phone down, and walked to the fridge. he grabbed the milk, and decided to just have cereal. he sat on his couch and turned on the TV. he couldn't focus on the weatherman while thinking about how sad he was without a soulmate. he hated that his friends we're seeing him in color, when he was just sitting there blankly, not understanding what they meant.
hoseok was going out today. he got dressed into dark (black) ripped skinny jeans, a cute jacket, and a light (white) t-shirt which he tucked into his jeans. he slipped on normal light colored (white) sneakers. he enjoyed dressing up, even though he wasn't seeing anyone today. he grabbed his phone, and keys. he opened the door, and walked down the hall of the apartment building he lived in. there was a couple arguing in an apartment 2 down from his. he ignored it.
hoseok was now in his car. he checked his phone, and saw no notifications. he sighed, and turned the keys in the ignition. he pulled out of the parking lot of the apartment complex, and headed straight for his favorite coffee shop. he usually went there every morning. sometimes he skipped it, being too sad about soulmates to get out of bed and drive there. the small establishment was never busy, so he liked the silence, sometimes bringing a book or his laptop. he brought neither today, just wanting to enjoy the view out of the big windows. hoseok rolled up to the coffee shop, and stepped out of his car. he opened the door, and the familiar bell above the door rang. his nostrils filled with the sweet smell of coffee. what the-they actually have a customer? hoseok looked at the customer. he was older than him, but not by many years. he had glasses, and a dark (black) turtleneck on. the boy held a book, and didn't look up. hoseok wanted him to. he walked to the counter. behind it was a sophie, the barista. he was friends with sophie. she was nice to him and knew his order well.
"hey, sophs." he waved awkwardly. she looked up and smiled.
"hoseokie! been a while, we-i mean, i missed you! what's up, dude?" hoseok chucked at her excitement. the boy looked away from his book for a second to see what was going on. hoseok turned and looked at him. he immediately looked back down at his book, flipping a page. he's so cute, hoseok thought. hoseok looked back at sophie.
"not much, just wanted to get some coffee and chill out for a bit. i've missed this place." hoseok smiled fondly.
"comin' right up." sophie turned and got his normal order. she finished and gave it to him. hoseok nodded at her, and took a sip.
"great as always." hoseok gave her the money, and went a sat down. he didn't want to sit too close to the boy, because he was shy. he sat close to the window, but a little far away from the boy. hoseok sipped on his coffee. he drew tiny things on the window. hoseok was too busy in his own world, that he hadn't noticed the boy came and sat down by him, watching hoseok's fingers drawing hearts and smiley faces on the cold glass window. the boy started drawing on the window too. this got hoseok's attention. the boy had dark (black) hair, and the cutest nose. the boy was drawing a coffee cup. hoseok looked at the boy, and the boy glanced at him and gave him a nervous smile, and then looked back at the window. he was writing something. hoseok was shocked. what was happening? who was this boy, and why did he take interest in hoseok? the boy grabbed his book, and his coffee. he waved at hoseok as he left the shop without saying a word. hoseok looked at the window to see what the boy had written.
