VII - Miss Right or Mistake?

This is bad

I can already hear my heart beating so loud and fast

"Are you scared too, Daisy?" she asked

Maybe she can also hear my heart pounding

"N-no! I mean yes!  I'm scared too. But don't worry it might just be an illusion" I said, trying to save myself

"Are you sure?" asked Nancy

"Y-yes. It's gone now"

"Gone now? Then it really existed earlier?!" JooE asked as Nancy and Ahin screamed like cats

"I don't know. Maybe not" I no longer know how to explain it. Ahin is making it more difficult for me to lie

She's still hugging me

"Oh, maybe it's one of your tactics. You just want to get close to Ahin!" JooE teased while Nancy chuckled

I kept Ahin stay hugging me so she won't see my face blushing

"What are you saying? Why would I do that if we're always together everyday?" I said defending myself

"You have a point. But don't be so defensive" says JooE as Nancy chuckled again

"Yah, Ahin! You can let her go now. You're enjoying your position too much" JooE teases Ahin

She suddenly pulled away upon hearing JooE

"I was too scared. That's it!" Ahin answered

"Aish! don't be so defensive, as well. You two are so obvious!"

Ahin and I both blushed

Nancy laughed

I'm gonna kill you, JooE

I swear I'm gonna kill you

Yeonwoo's POV

It's weekend and everyone's busy doing their own stuff

Some went to play soccer

The other students went to the mall

And the others just preferred to stay inside their rooms

Just like these girls in Rm 11-A

They're too loud

I wanted to scold them but they seemed to be having fun

I don't want to ruin that

They're screaming and laughing

Hmmn.. They must be watching a movie?

Maybe I should ask Hyebin if she would want to watch a movie with me

I was about to knock on her door when I heard someone humming

I listened to it

**Taeha humming Only One You**

It sounds familiar

**the humming continues**

Taeha's door opened as she walks out humming without noticing me

She's going to Jane's room

I followed her just to hear what she's singing

Then she sang the song I've been wanting to hear again

Only one you, I'm in love, you

eojeboda gakkai gakkai wa

The voice might just be a bit different because the door was closed at that time

"Taeha.." I called out looking at her with tears starting to form in my eyes but I was able to control it

She turned around and looked at me

"Yeonwoo.. a-are you ok?" she asked with a worried face

I walked closer and I couldn't help myself

I hugged her

I hugged the girl who sang to me and calmed my heart

"Yeonwoo.."

She stood still

"It's you. It's you all along" I said trying not to make my voice crack

"I don't under-"

"Shhh.." I cut off  "You don't have to explain. I just want to say thank you"

I cupped both hands on her cheeks looking deep in her eyes

"Yeo-"

I kissed her

Long enough that I didn't let her talk

Long enough that she already reciprocated my kiss, and wrapped her arms on my waist

Until I've heard something fell on the floor

I looked behind to see if someone was there

But nothing

Did someone see us?

Then I thought to myself, "so what?"

I have already found the one I've been looking for

I looked at Taeha

We smiled at each other

I rested my forehead against hers and caressed her face

"Please sing to me always... and never leave me again" I begged

She answered "I won't, Yeonwoo. I won't"
