Ever so bright.
It alone can illuminate one's very being.
I too strive to be like you.
Like you, I strive to be a permanent place holder in one's life.
You are not like your cousins. Thunder wants to be heard.
Lighting mimics its older brother.
Teach me your ways.
I aspire to be just as smooth as you are in this game called, "love".
Like you, I do not overratedly proclaim my love for her.
You have been silent since the beginning.
Not once has that famous phrase uttered from ur mouth.
You never needed to announce your presence and, yet, in little ways I'm aware of your existence.
I too show my affection in little ways.
I too don't constantly repeat that phrase.
You have always been my mentor and that will never change.
I always look forward to our chats.
They give me a sense of enlightenment.
When you are by my side, there is nothing to fear .
