In hindsight, the gravity of the situation seemed almost romantic. And why shouldn't it be, anyway? They were both madly into each other; in love even. This was, again in hindsight, a good thing.

It just wasn't that easy to explain. And to Kendall, that was probably the hardest part of it all. I mean, how else are you supposed to explain that you, a lesbian, got pregnant by your girlfriend who doesn't have the proper human tools to impregnate you? Not exactly high up on the list of explainable things. So of course, people were going to think the worst of how she wound up pregnant. And how, of all things, the beautiful football star Jaida Michaelson of the Canyon View High was still head over heels, romantically invested in her.

It was a mess, but at least Kendall could take a breathe in living with her older sister. She didn't ask questions most of the time; Kellan had taken care of her since as far back as she could remember when their parents decided they weren't the trouble. Why they decided to have two kids only to realize they didn't want to be parents was beyond Kendall. But she and Kellan were close, and they could tell each other everything and anything.

When it came to the pregnancy, Kendall was always a scissor snip away from telling her older sister everything. Would Kellan believe it? She wasn't sure. But at least, for the moment, her sister was tolerable and didn't ask questions. If anything, she was helpful, compassionate, and patient. And that's what probably made this whole thing all the easier for everyone.

Kendall was six months pregnant now, though she looked to already be a whopping eight months. In the beginnings of their relationship, she didn't know much about Jaida. The tall, well built, gorgeous blonde girl had moved into the city roughly two years ago. She made quarterback of the school's football team in only two months. Everyone was impressed and confused by the mysterious Jaida Michaelson. But none more than Kendall herself. It'd blown her away when, out of everyone in the school, Jaida chose to talk to her.

Sure, she was a cheerleader for the very team Jaida played on. They saw each other every practice and game. But Kendall wasn't as drop dead pretty as the girl was. She was an average pretty, with red hair, face full of freckles, and bright sea green eyes. She was thin and kind of on the short side, unlike Jaida who stood six-foot-four from head to foot. Kendall was pretty enough, but she wasn't Jaida pretty. But for some reason, the football star seemed to think otherwise. And roughly after her first year at the high school, they became girlfriends and spent every waking day that summer together.

It wasn't until the night they made love in her girlfriend's bedroom that Kendall found out she wasn't entirely human. And it wasn't until she started to rapidly become heavily pregnant that Kendall decided it didn't matter to her. She loved Jaida . . . and Jaida loved her. They were practically made for each other, and if she was going to carry however many alien babies her wonderful girlfriend had given to her, then she was going to do it with love and adoration.

And that's exactly what Kendall did.

Weekends were the best days. Those were the days where they could just relax together and have fun. Sometimes talk about what they were going to do after graduating. Talking about the eggs that laid deep inside of Kendall's womb. They weren't sure how many there were inside yet, but Jaida promised that she would soon find out. To Kendall, however, it felt like much much more than maybe five at the most. She could feel the weight of her full womb, could tell by the size of her popped out belly button. Measuring around, Kendall had already reached sixty inches even; which was nearly full term though she was only at six months.

Guess starting off her big family dreams was going to pay off early.

Kellan had to work this very weekend, so Kendall was home alone until Jaida could come over. After serving herself to a hearty meal, filling her stomach until she could take no more, Kendall changed into some comfortable pastel rainbow leggings and a heather-grey quarter sleeve shirt. Her massive belly poured over the waistband of the leggings; her shirt stopping just above her belly button.

Quickly tying her hair up into a comfortably high ponytail, Kendall took a look at herself in the mirror and grinned widely as she cupped both hands up under her belly and gave it a gentle jiggle.

She didn't care what anyone said or thought; she loved Jaida and she loved being this big with alien offspring. What more, she loved the feeling of the brood inside of her womb when they moved. Often times it was a lot of rolling, other times it was stretching and pushing. They would even sometimes send ripples and gargling sounds throughout her belly. That was when they were most active . . .  which seemed to be whenever Jaida was around.

They definitely knew who their mommy was.

What was more impressive to Kendall was how enormous she'd gotten so fast. Two months felt like four, four months felt like six, and now six felt like she was read to give birth any day. But Jaida had explained to her that alien pregnancy worked much differently. Eggs grew faster, as long as the human host could stand it, and with that the womb would expand accordingly. It seemed, though, that the only people who noticed how fast Kendall's belly had grown were Jaida and Kellan; which was another plus in this whole thing.

Grabbing her phone off her bed, which was now a comfortable mess of pillows, a sheet, and two comforters, Kendall opened up her camera and took a few quick photos in the full length mirror leaning against the farthest wall of her room. She definitely made sure she captured all the right angles of her face and whopping belly.

Satisfied with at least two cute photos, Kendall hobbled back to her bed and sat down, sending both photos to Jaida before posting them onto her Instagram.

'Hey sweetheart! Kellan is at work today . . . we're excited to see you!'

After posting, Kendall laid back against her pile of pillows and checked the time on her phone, leaving text message opened for when Jaida responded. She knew that her girlfriend wouldn't be up for another hour, so that just gave her some time to chill.

Kendall adjusted herself onto her side carefully, her massive pregnancy resting against some of the pillows. Quickly reaching for her TV remote, she turned on the flat screen standing upon her dresser and settled on one of the movie channels for a time passer.

Comfortable and excited to see her girlfriend, Kendall propped her head up onto one hand while the other slowly glided all around her rotund, pregnant form. It felt so good to be this pregnant, and to be carrying for the girl she loved more than anything in the world . . . it was as if her life had turned around for nothing but the better.

Giving her protruding belly button a gentle poke, followed by a hearty but soft jiggle of her gravid belly, Kendall laughed warmly to herself.

She couldn't wait for Jaida to arrive. Only then would she get all of the love, affection, attention to her belly, and fun the weekend had to offer for them.
